What????? Isn't that in conflict of interest?Well doesn't that just take the cake........I'm still holding back on the abuse allegations until LE says it so. Only one spinner spinning that story.

You made a lot of great points and indeed DV is clearly not the brightest bulb, but I just wanted to point out that I'm pretty sure it was stated that the blood found in the apartment by LE was NOT visable to the eye. They used luminol in order to see the blood in the hallway and in the bathroom.
So despite his stupidity it does seem like he went to great lengths to cover up the physical evidence on the home.
If it's true they found blood and tissue in the pipes, then at least we know he is not smart enough to know that it can easily be detected there despite trying to wash it down. Imo

Some photos from the link (5 of 10):A court date for the stepfather of 4-year-old Maleah Davis turned into a volatile scene on Monday as protesters chased the missing girl’s mother out of the courthouse and down the street, alleging that she was just as complicit in her daughter’s possible death.
At least a dozen people, some bearing signs and T-shirts declaring “Justice for Maleah,” had arrived for an initial court appearance for Derion Vence, the stepfather accused of tampering with a human corpse in Maleah’s disappearance. His court date was reset, but the protesters and reporters swarmed mother Brittany Bowens when she walked out of court with community activist Quanell X.
Bowens stood back as Quanell X spoke, shaking as tears rolled down her cheeks.
“The main thing right now that all of us want to know is, what did he do with Maleah?” Quanell X said.
The protesters rang out with questions, making it difficult for Quanell X to speak.
“Why isn’t she locked up?” one yelled.
Quanell X and Bowens walked down the hallway of the courthouse as protesters followed, chanting, “Justice for Maleah!”
Several people in the mob yelled as they followed the mother down the street. She broke down crying when one handed her a poster and gave her a hug.

Interestingly, the page posted by KHOU verifying that the funeral was April 27 appears to be taken down. Maybe it really was an error?

I would think all they have to do is look at the flight manifest. LE probably knows exactly when the plane took off. ImoTraveling by air is probably the best route for confirming dates and times. Airports have cameras EVERYWHERE, her ID was scanned multiple times. Plus her phone pings, debit card usage, cell photos can have a meta tag w date and location. LE will be able to verify if and when she was in MA.
it's a bit confusing the way it was stated
it said blood drops were found in the hallway and they went in with luminol and found traces not visible to the naked eye in the bathroom
so that makes it sound like they found visible drops first and then other blood evidence not easily visible

Bet Maleah cried, with tear drops rolling down her cheeks many times.
I think BB is crying for herself. Not for her daughter. Jmo
[bbm]
oh wow, real, actual tears?! crying for herself?
This is from the Criminal Complaint (emphasis mine):This article makes it sound like the blood drops on the carpet near the bathroom were visible to eyes of the first round of LE that entered the apartment.
