Well doesn't that just take the cake........I'm still holding back on the abuse allegations until LE says it so. Only one spinner spinning that story.
What????? Isn't that in conflict of interest?

You made a lot of great points and indeed DV is clearly not the brightest bulb, but I just wanted to point out that I'm pretty sure it was stated that the blood found in the apartment by LE was NOT visable to the eye. They used luminol in order to see the blood in the hallway and in the bathroom.
So despite his stupidity it does seem like he went to great lengths to cover up the physical evidence on the home.
If it's true they found blood and tissue in the pipes, then at least we know he is not smart enough to know that it can easily be detected there despite trying to wash it down. Imo

it's a bit confusing the way it was stated
it said blood drops were found in the hallway and they went in with luminol and found traces not visible to the naked eye in the bathroom
so that makes it sound like they found visible drops first and then other blood evidence not easily visible

ETA: wanted to add the link

Houston detectives found drops of blood in the hallway that led to the bathroom and on surfaces in the bathroom.
Investigators discovered evidence of more blood by using a "chemical reagent" that reacts to the presence of blood that may not be visible to the eye, such as when a person has attempted to clean it up, the documents state.
Vence allegedly told investigators "that there should be no blood in the home and that no one was recently bleeding."
Testing subsequently linked the blood sample to Maleah.

A court date for the stepfather of 4-year-old Maleah Davis turned into a volatile scene on Monday as protesters chased the missing girl’s mother out of the courthouse and down the street, alleging that she was just as complicit in her daughter’s possible death.

At least a dozen people, some bearing signs and T-shirts declaring “Justice for Maleah,” had arrived for an initial court appearance for Derion Vence, the stepfather accused of tampering with a human corpse in Maleah’s disappearance. His court date was reset, but the protesters and reporters swarmed mother Brittany Bowens when she walked out of court with community activist Quanell X.

Bowens stood back as Quanell X spoke, shaking as tears rolled down her cheeks.

“The main thing right now that all of us want to know is, what did he do with Maleah?” Quanell X said.

The protesters rang out with questions, making it difficult for Quanell X to speak.

“Why isn’t she locked up?” one yelled.

Quanell X and Bowens walked down the hallway of the courthouse as protesters followed, chanting, “Justice for Maleah!”

Several people in the mob yelled as they followed the mother down the street. She broke down crying when one handed her a poster and gave her a hug.

Traveling by air is probably the best route for confirming dates and times. Airports have cameras EVERYWHERE, her ID was scanned multiple times. Plus her phone pings, debit card usage, cell photos can have a meta tag w date and location. LE will be able to verify if and when she was in MA.
I would think all they have to do is look at the flight manifest. LE probably knows exactly when the plane took off. Imo

This article makes it sound like the blood drops on the carpet near the bathroom were visible to eyes of the first round of LE that entered the apartment.

Feel like I am living in the twilight zone here. Keep waiting for Jose Baez to jump on this legal team.

Bet Maleah cried, with tear drops rolling down her cheeks, many times.

I think BB is crying for herself. Not for her daughter. Jmo
She might be better off to get a body guard instead of a motor mouth advocate.

Judge sets $1 million bond for stepfather charged in Maleah Davis disappearance
This is from the Criminal Complaint (emphasis mine):

On Sunday, May 5, 2019, this affiant spoke with Detective Nina Sharp, of the Homicide Division, whom affiant finds to be a credible and reliable person. Detective Sharp went to the apartment of the defendant and his girlfriend, Brittany Bowens, with their consent. Detective Sharp has told this affiant that she observed drops of blood in the hallway leading to the bathroom of the apartment and on various surfaces of the bathroom for the apartment. Detective Sharp was present when Crime Scene Investigators from the Houston Forensic Science Center sprayed a chemical reagent that reacts to blood in the hallway and bathroom of the apartment. This reagent reacted to the presence of blood not visible to the unaided eye. This affiant knows from his training and experience that this reagent reaction occurs when a person has attempted to clean up blood. Detective Sharp supervised the collection of samples from these visible and reagent-only-visible stains which were tagged and analyzed by the Houston Forensic Science Center. During his interview, the defendant stated to your affiant that there should be no blood in the home and that no one was recently bleeding.

Where is BB2? I don't see her in the pictures. Is she no longer standing by her daughter?

Also, was CD there?
