I can’t like this but I totally agree. Dear sweet baby.

I am kind of new here. I created an account to follow Hailey Dunn way back when and lost access to that email so I had to create a new account to follow this poor baby too. The moms boyfriend's performance yesterday was just too much imo. Very telling. When I first watched the story where the mom was saying "they found my baby on an orange float" my red flag monitors flew up. The story has been stink city from the start. :( This precious baby needs justice.
Welcome! Glad you are here and posting. We are going to need a virtual hug for this one. Dang it it's sad.

Houston Police Department
I'm keeping a watch on their FB - for a presser or any news - it's been two days!

I think they are sweating them out and getting all their ducks in a row. If I had to guess, and I am, I think they've got their POI or POI's. Now they need to make it STICK!

I wonder if they bought an orange floatie at the store that night? Wouldn't that be something?

MOO

I think the orange "floatie" is probably a forensic body recovery bag. They are frequently orange.

Are there alligators in the bayou?
Growing up we'd mostly hear about them in the bayou that runs through Downtown - Buffalo Bayou. I imagine they have been in Brays but to what degree I don't know.

As far as making her boyfriend a sandwich I don't have any problem with her doing that.

I love to cook or even make sandwiches for my hubby. He works very hard even though he retired in 2018. Three months after retiring he opened up his own business. But even if he didnt have his own business now he constantly works hard here on our property, and helping me anyway he possibly can.

I can't begin to count the things he does to help me, and has always done so even when we dated for 2 years before marrying, and I did help him every chance I got, and it warmed my heart when I did.

So the least I can do for him is prepare good home cooked meals or make him the sandwich of his choice. Yes, he tells me he can make his sandwiches, and I know very well he can.

He can do household chores as well as I can too. Thank goodness he knows how to do everything, and does them extremely well.

Nothing went lacking during the couple of times I had to have major surgery, and the recovery took weeks. This included him totally caring for our five children, and cooking for them, when I wasn't able to do so in my in home recovery period.

I became extremely sick right out of the blue back the first of March of this year. No one could have taken better care of anyone like my hubby took care of me. He still does because I'm still struggling to overcome it.

I really wish he would let me do more for him. He knows, and so does my family, preparing food for them all is one way I express my deep abiding love for my hubby, and for my entire family/friends.

So I don't have any problem with her or anyone else for that matter making sandwiches or preparing food for their partner. It's an individual choice.

What I DO have a major problem with though is I believe that statement was a concocted lie meant to deceive.

Btw, peanut butter, and jelly sandwiches are usually one of the best things little children like to eat. It breaks my heart MB won't be able to eat one again. :( our little great grands love them!

This does make me wonder if they can pinpoint TOD by stomach contents.

I hear you and am too very fortunate to have an amazing husband myself. Massive shout out to the amazing men in our lives.
If I was outside playing with our granddaughters in the garden he would never summon me on the phone to make a sandwich. That’s not just us.
That man also does not fit the profile of our hard working, kind and considerate husbands.

IMO JMO amateur opinion and speculation only

QX is saying that mom and the bf were at this particular store very late at night, after midnight, and the baby was left at home, by herself,.. before she was reported missing. A 2 year old, left alone.

I'd like to know who was the last to see Maliyah, not counting family, and when, where.
Unfortunately when I clicked the link it was just covering hurricane stats.

ETA: Never mind, I finally got to see the video.

Eta I wish we could do more.

IMO the pillow case was mentioned as it may very well be what little Tootie was placed in as CharlestonGal suggests. It was with her when she was "taken"
And, it would not surprise me if a toy was put into the pillow case with her.

Still learning how WS works... would this thread now include DECEASED in the title? Or is that just if the thread also says MISSING? I think the amber alert is over. :( heartbreaking.

Maliyah Bass case: Foul play suspected after body found in bayou may be 2-year-old Houston girl

snipped
A jogger spotted the body in Brays Bayou in an area southeast of the University of Houston that is about 17 miles west of Maliyah's family's home. The bayou runs within a mile of the apartment complex, police said. A water rescue team with the Houston Fire Department pulled the body from the bayou.

pusblished 2 hours ago but nothing really new

it still seems so far for a little child to walk alone. I think somebody else was with her—maybe other kids even—but it’s hard to imagine a child that age just going for such a long hike alone. :(

As far as I know, the body wasn't officially identified as Maliyah yet.

Probably the title will be changed when LE announces positive identification.

Thanks for coming back and joining us here. This really is a sad one. And you're right, Maliyah needs justice.

I do too.

What bothers me most is MB was said to be found nude if that is correct information.

I've read so much here today I cant recall now who said she was nude. Was it her mom? Tia

I guarantee you she didn't walk there.

Cell phone pings and car gps data will go a long way toward proving everyone's whereabouts in the days surrounding the time she was last seen..
