That's so weird. Boy, wouldn't you like to know what it was about? I sure would!!This is what I was looking at.View attachment 261555
What it might be is that you saw the file before the actual autopsy began or maybe the autopsy was still in progress so at that point the COD technically wasn't yet pending. By the time I saw it the autopsy was complete and the COD was then pending. Dunno, just a thought. It's like they were almost ready...and then they weren't!
Yes, thats the case #. I had seen it before so maybe updated? IDK, it had said "NO" under 'is it pending.'
Some things on report I don't understand.
I wish they would conclude cause I worry certain people will use storm as excuse to leave town.
Foul play. Ugh. I'm still really hoping that this was neglect and/or "went into the house for 5 minutes to fix lunch" as the boyfriend says. That Maliyah's last memories were of playing in the playground. Maybe finding and "trying out" an orange floatie. How close is the Bayou? How plausible is it she could have found her way there on her own?
FWIW, those pictures seems recent and she looks happy and cutely dressed. But agree with other posters - I don't know what to make of the BF interviews.
ETA - your post made me think - do we definitely know it was just a few hours? Anyone else see Maliyah in the playground? Could she have wondered off much earlier? It's a bad day when one is hoping for neglect. Also could she have drowned if she was "on a floatie." Too many unknowns here.
So I got the distinct feeling from the way the neighbours 'welcomed' the couple home, that no one reportedly saw the child playing alone in the park, at the time Mom said she was there...am I right?

bumpVery basic rule of Websleuths ... do NOT sleuth and post about the social media of individuals anyone other than a victim and an officially named POI/suspect. That means no sleuthing and posting on this public thread about family, friends/boyfriends/girlfriends/ acquaintances etc.
The OP about the bf's father's FB has been removed, along with all responses stemming from it. Sorry if some very well thought out content had to be removed. Moderators don't have time to be editing everyone's response to retain context. Sadly that's what happens when members disregard TOS.
If members wish to discuss privately with other members off thread, they may do so using the private conversation feature where they can add up to 20 other members to the convo. Just don't post the findings here.

No they were at a store late Friday night without the baby girlI'm a bit behind but looking for the latest news and finding nothing so far - I did run across this again
snipped
"That’s a serious issue that the baby was not here with them late that night, before they made the 911 call that the baby had been abducted. More responsible parenting could have easily prevented this," Quannell said.
Piecing together what happened to two-year-old Maliyah Bass
----
so is he saying they made the 911 call at night because I thought it was in the morning? It appears as if he is saying the baby wasn't there at the house that night
IMO
Is it allowed to mention not sleuthing any individuals but if you search Maliyah on YouTube you will find the neighbors are really starting to maybe hurt the investigation They entered the apartment and filmed it Shouldn't that be a potential crime scene ???bump
I know LE has their hands full with the storms/hurricane, but they really need to take control here. Until, and if such time as anyone is arrested, the neighbors committed a crime breaking and entering. I know we are all upset about this, but we must obey the law.Is it allowed to mention not sleuthing any individuals but if you search Maliyah on YouTube you will find the neighbors are really starting to maybe hurt the investigation They entered the apartment and filmed it Shouldn't that be a potential crime scene ???
Yep, no talk of "the monster who did this needs to be punished", just "okay, it will be hard to move on". So odd.Yeah, the part about I never had a seed is weird because right after wailing and collapsing against the car he stands up straight, dry-eyed, face calm and right before the "I never had a seed" part he says:
"It's gonna be hard to move on." Nods head and says " Yeah it's gonna be real hard to move on.'
First of all he's using a tone of voice like yeah, Amazon says that order is sold out so yeah, I'm bummed"
Remember this is the day "my baby!" was found as a corpse. His tone, face, affect, is so off.
Second, if your child really disappeared and got found dead in a bayou how are you already on to "moving on"?
Think of people who had a loved one die even in war overseas and they keep the sons bedroom exactly the same for example.
He switched gears so fast like I never saw before.
