Do we know who and where this child's father is?

I’m thinking LE might want to go back and check any CCTV from the night before.

I don’t have a good feeling about this, but I hope LE can get the perp(s) quickly.

Here is a link to KPRC news. News | Houston News, Texas News and Local News Headlines | Click2Houston | KPRC 2

They just ran the latest updates about Maliyah on both the 4 and 5 pm newscasts. I don't see a link to the story yet but I'm sure it'll be up soon after the live broadcast is over.

KPRC reporter Taisha Walker visited the apartment complex this afternoon, showed the playground, and spoke to the neighbors. They are not happy. Quanell X has surfaced and made a visit.

So, Quanell X strikes again. Maybe he can get some people talking as it seemed to work in Maleah’s case.

I agree. I'm all of the place with this. I pray they didn't have anything to do with this but if they did then according to their whereabouts, MOM had Maliyah and went into the house where the boyfriend was already ( waiting on his 9:30 am sandwich might I add), so that would mean he would have had to leave, do something to this child, put her in water "SOMEWHERE" and go back inside for a sandwich. Or, she did something earlier that morning without his knowledge and went in and made a sandwich then said she was missing. Or this happened much earlier and they're both in on it at that point IMO. Like I said I hope this isn't the case for the families sake and this is all IMO.

Definitely something not right here. Sadly, it's probably the same "not right" that is already in hundreds of stories on this board.

Ugh. Fighting my cynicism over here.

I may have misspoke so I deleted that comment from my comment. So sorry to throw anyone off. I must of misread and I can't find where I "THINK" I saw that.

Thanks for clarifying. No worries.

Agree with you. Then the part where he starts talking about how he just taught her how to find her way home. I thought that was really odd. I don't know if the beginning of his interview in these articles made it or if that was another interview, but he also talks about how the police weren't doing their jobs to look for her. How the dog passed out and the helicopter ran out of gas.

He's over-explaining. No 2 year old is equipped to find their way home, even if it's a block away. Alarm bells are ringing very very loudly.

Interview with a neighbor, seems some neighbors had to be held back when they went back to their apartment.

Interview with a neighbor, seems some neighbors had to be held back when they went back to their apartment.
The neighbor in video is questioning why mom would leave her alone for even a second in that area because there are many safety hazards.

I think she also said something about a board that was on the window at the time so how could mom watch the baby. IMO

Edit: @claudicici You beat me to it. I'm glad you heard that too.

I feel either they are lying about how long she was left outside, though I know it can happen in a snap of the finger. He said that was her routine so maybe they are used to leaving her outside and someone was watching. The boyfriend interview seems quite dramatic and he even referred to her as a seed at one point or he said he does not have a seed. I am no expert and maybe he thinks he needs to show up or people will blame him, that or he is coming off something. I won't leave a kid outside especially out of my sight just because they could hurt themselves not even thinking about kidnapping. Disclaimer I have no kids. she is two, just grab her and go make the food and bring her back.

The other scenario is the boyfriend and mom hurt her and if this is the case I think the grandmother(the boyfriend's mother) is aware). I just get the feeling from her interview as well.

ALL my opinion.

My heart just froze reading about the windows. Sigh.

I'm now so afraid this may become a coconspirators case like we've seen way too often.

I'm trying my best to wait for the evidence or an arrest, but it's hard to stay neutral while knowing the latest information about the windows.

If she was killed by someone she knew, and trusted, I hope the offender or offenders will not be able to attend Tootie's funeral because LE has arrested them before the funeral is held.
