Ferrara has stepped down from the witness stand to closely examine the bike. The black bike has the red water bottle that we have also seen in the photographs. It is fully intact inside the evidence bag. This bike is estimated between $10k-$13k.

Wow - that must be hard for Mo's family. For a serious cyclist, their bike is almost an extension of their body. It's very personal.

For a quick second, I wondered why the reporter was reminding us that CC performed CPR. Then I realized, CC would herself had to have been cleared as the murder suspect.
CC had to have been very, very traumatized. I hope that she has been (somewhat) able to heal.

Defense asks Ferrara to assemble the bike in the courtroom in the position that it was found in the bamboo brush. Those in the jury and courtroom crane their necks to view. So does the judge. Some jury members seem disinterested, I will admit, and don't bother sitting up.
Ferrara admits she does not know how the bike got into the bamboo forest. There were no signs of it bike tracks in the grass. She admits anyone could have placed it there.

Defense questioning about transfer DNA and cross contamination. The defense asks why it's important to not cross contaminate evidence? Ferrara struggles to answer that question. Doesn't say anything. After 10 seconds of thinking, defense has "no further questions."
