When people react with glee and dancing that officers got killed, I wonder will there EVER be any change???????

Are some people even open to change?? Is THIS the change they want???

How sad!!!!

IMOO.

I hope in the light of the day they realize just how horrible their actions were (they obviously didn't get it at the moment). I am thankful this seems to be a relatively small group of people because I just don't want to believe many share their seemingly heartless souls.

No need to get too wound up about it. A very small group of boors does not represent any group larger than themselves. I'd actually find it kind of insulting to suggest they do -- not that you are doing so. I mean, do we judge any large group based on the actions of a few idiots? (Or I guess I should ask -- should we?)

Respectfully, I suspect, since he planned on killing people, which is obviously illegal, whether it was legal or not to open carry would make little difference to him.

Also, respectfully, he didn't have a machine gun (a fully automatic gun.) He had a semi-automatic rifle and a handgun. Both of which will only fire once per trigger pull.

Not talking gun control, just trying to clarify his weapons.

I was referring to the guy they called a person of interest who gave his machine gun to a cop.

I dont know if this is right?/

IMO, every one of those 20 rifle-toting folks is lucky to be alive--as in not mistaken for a shooter and shot at by other rifle-toting folks or LE.
Word!

I think that thinking is exactly what has gotten us into this mess altogether.

My post was about the people who were dancing and reacting with glee. My post was not about any other group except these people dancing and taunting the police.

IMOO.

I have not really heard hate chants, I have heard no peace no justice, sounds reasonable wish -- justice. A cop pulls over a car in daylight for a lightulb? Odd of a white couple getting pulled over in broad daylight??/

1 bbm, http://dailycaller.com/2015/08/29/b...nt-pigs-in-a-blanket-fry-em-like-bacon-video/
“Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon,” activists with the St. Paul, Minn. branch of Black Lives Matter chanted while marching behind a group of police officers down a highway just south of the state fair grounds.

2 bbm, has nothing to do with this topic

3 bbm, Not sure what is meant by this, As a white woman the last two (2) times I was pulled over it was by a black police officer in the day time.both times I got a speeding ticket by one, (well deserved, i was going 72 in a posted 55. The second time I was speeding again, :) he put on the ticket I was going 74, (I was going 84 and climbing) :) he gave me a warning. So I don't know what is inferred by odd that a white couple getting pulled over in broad daylight means. Oh I never felt threatened by either one of those officer's they were doing their job. I on the other hand was speeding and paid the penalty for it.

o/t I thank you again officer Powell for the warning. :)

I think it's more than a small group of violent people. The FBI has issued alerts in Baton Rouge, LA and Shreveport, LA to first responders and LE about the potential for anti-police violence this weekend.

Video in aftermath of Dallas police slaughter appears to show protesters DANCING and 'taunting' officers in a 7-Eleven parking lot

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ice-slaughter-appears-protesters-DANCING.html
Disgraceful. Looks to be about 3 dozen idiots. How many were at the protest I wonder? I'm not a fan of BLM, but I don't think these degenerate fools represent the mass of marchers. These are wanna be looter-goons that were prevented from looting IMO.

***** said a couple of times.

As I watching I was thinking , man if this was a trailer , 35 years ago this would be a blockbuster. Reality is the pitts. Truly chilling how horrible this stuff has become.

FIrst time I ever heard a real gun was at Watertown during Boston Marathon

If anyone can tell how many shots were from the bad guy??

I do hear different sounds - do all cops have the same gun??

How many bullets does a cop gun hold without having to reload?

Years ago, I would have said the sound man, in the film , put in to many sirens...sad huh

Man scary scary stuff

Each of chooses to see the glass as half full or half empty. A single extremist committed mass murder, the ONLY difference from hundreds of other massacres here in the US being that he killed cops, instead of, say school children, or church goers, or movie-goers.

Handfuls of drunk young people danced, maybe they danced becsuse they were drunk, or lost in their world, or maybe they were celebrating. Who knows. But why the focus on the actions of those few, rather than on the shock and horror expressed by nearly everyone else, including the mother of a black son so recently shot by cops?

Johnson was a terrorist, as far as I'm concerned, and to ignore the pleas of leaders in Dallas for folks to come together is, imo, to give the Johnsons of the world exactly what they want.

Sharing a pic that I love...for those not familiar with Dallas, the thing that is at the top is called reunion tower, it's a revolving restaurant that spins above the city, and at night looks like a giant, lit up microphone of sorts and really stands out in our skyline. I wish someone could make the rose blue.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

RIP to all the victims 🌹

Texas Lieutenant Governor Calls Protesters ‘Hypocrites’

http://www.nytimes.com/live/news-da...-hypocrites-for-running-from-snipers-bullets/

Seriously? An elected official is saying if people don't stop speaking up about some cops using excessive /lethal force against blacks, police are going to stop policing?

Seriously? How entirely inappropriate, not to mention unhelpful, not to mention the only discordant note I've heard out of Dallas leadership. Shame on him.

What an idiot. Suggesting that by exercising ones first amendment rights one should sacrifice their right to public safety. He has just embarrassed Texas, and that, for what it's worth, was the point of the NY Times article.

I say this as a Texan. He is an idiot of the highest order!!!!!!!!! As well, he's likely a criminal. It just hasn't gone to court yet. We here in Texas have several politicians who embarrass me.
