Just awful. I heard they were shot in the back too. Don't have a link off hand though.Four officers dead.
http://beta.dallasnews.com/news/dal...ooting-deaths-alton-sterling-philando-castileLaw enforcement officials have not publicly confirmed his identity, but Dallas and Mesquite police officers cordoned off a house Friday in Mesquite that is listed on Micah Johnson's drivers license.
Detectives and crime-scene technicians removed bags from the home on Helen Lane before leaving a little before 11:30 am.
Chase Young, who lives around corner and a few houses down, woke up when Mesquite police cruisers set off his front motion-sensor alarm.
"They've been going back and forth, back and forth since 1 o'clock," he said.
Here comes the spin. "Well planned". Paris was well planned. San Bern was well planed.
Do I think folks last night agreed with one another and discussed where they would stand, yes.
How could something be well planned? Noone knew a cop in one city was going to kill someone? Who could have known another cop in another city was going to violate the law shortly thereafter.
We have to remember that last night, was a result of the above-mentioned crimes, how could anyone even know a march was happening until the 24 hours before the country found out about two more incidents of exceesive force, aganist AA citizens??
If our soldiers and ex-soldiers are barred from owning weapons, then exactly who should own one ? Nobody ?
The entire argument is ludicrous, not to mention unconstitutional.
This is exactly what I was afraid of last night. BLM is stating this wont stop them and for that I am thrilled, just thrilled. But , just IMO, I really beleive nationwide, it might be better to just wait a day or two.
That blue code, is going to be intense, everywhere- why invite more dispair . Its human, people do not function as well when stressed. At some rally tonight, someone does something that cops on edge feel as problematic and they all go nuts, we are just going to have more and more sadness.
Rightfully we cant stop a march, thank god, but I hope everyone just takes a night or two off. This is a very dangerous place right now. Everything needs a calming time out. IMO
Ferguson was IMO totally not ok as far as LE went. Completly handled wrongly .
People are fragile now, collectivly we are coming off of two AA murdered this week, cops murdered, terrorists over seas going nuts, and a mass shooter going nuts.
We need a break imo!
BLM leader giving a statement. Will work with authorities on a proper investigation. Extend condolences to families of victims. They believe that black lives matter, but also that blue lives matter, too. We can work to heal America.
Good statement.

And seemingly irrelevant to this topic, IMO.
I haven't read anyone making that argument in relation to Johnson.
Peace.
Repectfully, just asking.
If there were a mass shooting at a GM factory, and employees wanted to pay respects etc, I do not think their employeer would let them be on the payroll while doing so.
Do we know if all the cops standing there while waiting for the cars to come out of hospital were being paid for that? Are all the cops coming to the cop car to put flowers, are they being paid while they are doing that?
If half of the force is suppossed to be protecting a huge area, and are leaving there areas to place flowers 2 districts over, and something happens on their beat, that is a problem IMO.
Or are they just in their outfits while they are doing these personal things, before or after starting their paid shifts to protect areas??
Private sector will not pay staff to attend to personal things--just wonder if taxpayers are paying for all this. In overtime??
Just wondering................
"MOST DAYS WE DONT NOT FEEL SUPPORT"This is stunningly sad and heart breaking. I want to repeat what the police guy on tv said. I think it is SO important today----
Most days, we do not feel support. I am asking that today is not one of those days. Today, we need your support. Please.
And I agree. Today is the day to lead with love. Leave any police bashing at the door today. It is not the time or the place. I think it is extremely sad that most days are days they do not feel support. Thats beyond sad.
