Hey now-I did a little checking on Royce Ziegler II and it appears he is not 26, he is 40 years old. He is one of 4 children born to Royce Ziegler senior who is 61. I found an obit from 1999 where Royce II appears as a pallbearer for his uncle Benny Ziegler's funeral, along with his siblings, father and surviving uncle. Both Royce Ziegler's live in Spring TX as far as I can see.

Wonder if Riley's mom was surprised by his age when she met him, or if she just didn't want to tell Riley's grandmother the truth??? Hmmm...

That mother has got to recognize that the similarities between Baby Grace and her daughter are compelling. Couple that knowledge with the fact that her daughter was supposedly ripped from her arms by unknown people claiming to be from CPS, and it makes absolutely no sense for the mother to not be entirely cooperative UNLESS she is in fact responsible for her daughter's disappearance.

Whoa....injury to a child and tampering with evidence...well, there you go. Baby Grace must be Riley....I'm sure they know by now. What a horror for the Sawyers family in OH. I feel like bawling.

Oh okay, I gotcha now. To me, that reads as if Riley's father actually wanted to put an end to those rumors and was getting fed up with being given the runaround by his ex and her new man. I guess with the news about Riley's mom and husband being jailed this has now become moot though....

I agree Englishleigh.... they probably know by now that Baby Grace is Riley.... I feel like bawling, too.

If Royce Ziegler lied about his age to Kimberly, telling her he was 26 when he was actually 40...for some reason that really has me wondering if he is a pedophile. What if Kim told him online that she had a 2 yo daughter and he zeroed in on her b/c of that, "romancing" her and convincing her he was 26 and had money and would take care of her and the baby? Then when Kim married Royce and arrived in Texas with Riley, soon after he molested Riley and killed her, or okay, maybe he isn't a pedophile but just a sick SOB and killed Riley b/c of not wanting her around, and now Kim is protecting him or EVEN going along with his story of what happened to Riley out of ignorance or fear? Maybe HE told her the Ohio authorities came and took Riley and that's what she believes, when really, Royce killed her and did away with her?

This is such a tragedy...simply unbelievable. My heart goes out to the family of Riley Sawyers.

Good point, englishleigh...but I hate to think of what this little baby must have endured. Kim obviously went right along with it, because the story was that she got pushed down by the person who came and took Riley.

What I've been trying to figure out all along is whenRiley actually went missing. Could they have been hiding her little body since July?

The poor the little girl. She probably missed her grandma and dad so much. At least Texas has the death penalty for murdering a small child, and I'll bet it didn't take long for those two freaks to start squealing and blaming each other.

I live close by to Mentor and have been following this case about the unidentified child found in a box in Texas once a connection was made to the Sawyers family.

I am sick to my stomach, that this beautiful little "Grace' was killed by her mom (whether she actually did it, or by helping her husband ,makes no difference to me, SHE KILLED GRACE).

My prayers to her loving Grandmother and Father.

Thank you all for NOT letting this unknown baby become a cold case!

That's sickening. Poor Riley.... may she rest in peace now. How awful for her father and the rest of the Sawyers family... it sounds like they did everything they could after Riley's mom took off with her. So sad but at least now the family knows where she is, and the community knows this sweet angle had someone who loved and cared for her. Despite her unfortunately short life and tragic end Riley~Baby Grace was loved. Now as for the selfish mother who was to proud IMO to let her live with the family who loved her I hope she gets what she deserves. Prison justice can be swift for her type.
