HAHA. I will gladly have a debate with you on that topic if you wish. That's an easy one to prove to anyone willing to wake up and pay attention.

In all honesty I like you even though we disagree on most everything (: . You aren't condescending and seem sincere in your beliefs with no ulterior motive. I'm up for an honest debate any time

For what it's worth, I said that it was sadistic to yell "GOOD!" when SB said she was epileptic -- and I stand by that. I added that this LEO was not the only sadistic LEO -- but that is a very far cry from saying that all LEO are sadistic.

How would the jailer's know that depriving Sandra her epilepsy medicine would cause her to die quickly enough? I'm sure she would have either bailed out or would have been released within a matter of days.

That's assuming it was intentional.

If in fact there was some sort of cover up and I'm still undecided but leaning toward there having been...I don't think anyone killed her on purpose.
I think it's possible that she may have died due to some injury or neglect (medicine) and they decided to call it suicide.
How sad is it that normally I wouldn't consider any deceit but I do based on the behavior of the officer that arrested SB. IMO

You & those that liked your post must think the Harris County is involved in a cover up. Correct ?

I think it's possible that the jail employees covered up for themselves, not for the officer. They knew they would be in deep trouble for not providing adequate medical care.

I agree. That was cruel or sadistic ( if you will ) and uncalled for from the officer.IMO

If she had had a seizure and died then they would have had no reason to panic. why fake a hanging if someone dies from a medical issue?

Because she told them she had epilepsy and they didn't have her examined or provide medication.

Very often people who have been abused learn to recognize abusers. It doesn't take much. One of the plays in their playbook is to set up their victims to fail so they can abuse/punish them. I saw a lot of that in what this officer did as well.

And people who are trained to help people with abusers such as staff in women's shelters

Whatever happened in her cell they knew they would have to answer for it (negligence or worse) and I think it's possible they did what they could to protect themselves.

Glad to see that you are being biased and objective. Seriously, I feel awful for you because I was abused as a child too. Years of sexual abuse by an uncle. But I think it is kind of unfair to project that on to a police officer during a traffic stop. As the parent of an officer, I cannot begin to explain to you how much stress they are experiencing these days working with the public.

This officer asked her politely if she wouldn't mind putting out her lit ciggie and she rudely refused. I think SHE was the one being rude and hostile at the start, not him.

I jus don't think we will ever agree on this. It started with him saying she seemed irritated as if that would be a shock to him. It continued when he asked her if she was done. All said with a tone. I may be projecting, but I also 100% trust my instincts.

Edited to fix autocorrect. Lol

If she hadn't been driving the car she never would have been arrested. She should have taken the bus.

I agree she should never have been driving a motor vehicle under the influence of pot; per prelim. autopsy report.
Good Cop/Bad Cop he got a stoned driver off the road.
I'm sorry she was so ill that she chose to commit suicide. She must have been very sick and that is sad.

How is a woman with previous suicidal tendencies hanging herself a case of negligence?

There's a scene in the Coen brothers' movie "Miller's Crossing" in which a gangster slaps his 8-10 year old child in the face, and then asks "Whatsa matter, somebody hit you? Aren't we still friends?"

Somehow, to me, this officer's questions about whether SB was OK reminds me of the gangster who slapped his kid and asked him the same sort of question.

To be clear, you think they faked the hanging?

I wouldn't be surprised at this point.

You said it yourself. Previous suicidal tendencies. And a previous suicide attempt. They knew it.

So now the narrative has moved from racist murderers to racist negligent people? <mod snip>

If it hadn't been the cigarette it would have been something else. He didn't like her attitude. By his own words during the call in she wouldn't even look at him.
And what really set him off was when she answered as to why she was irritated.
As another poster posted his tone changed after she called him out on his speed and tailing her. IMO
