I'm not sure we even know what any motive was in this crime except for street cred or proving self as a foot soldier ? Maybe payback or something. So mindless, so pointless, so many lives of everyone wasted, even the perpetrators have lost everything - the father and the step mother simply as they wanted to bring fresh rolled up towels to mop up a murder scene it looks like. Why??? What mad crazy street life is that about?

Possible motive may have been robbery. Christopher Preciado may have seen the amount of cash that Matthew Guerra was flashing on Social Media and thought robbing him during a staged drug deal would be an easy way to gain some of that money. Guerra may have pulled a gun when Preciado tried robbing him and that is when Preciado started shooting.

I'm thinking Guerra was shot in the front seat of the car and then removed and dragged on the ground to be placed in the back seat so Preciado could drive the car to hid it. LE may have found a gun belonging to Guerra in the car and possibly bullets and spent casings that belonged to that gun. Hopefully we will learn more during the trail as to what evidence LE found and their theory on motive.

My gut says he felt some how "dissed" and wanted to prove something. No reason at all for killing A pregnant woman sitting in a car.... just a horrible horrible crime. The whole life style, gangs, drugs, violence is just mindboggling and useless.

I was really shocked watching the social media videos that were adjacent to this case, revealing 'cartel life' and how these young men are lost into it and their belief systems and rivalries. Also shocked how open it was and how gun events, drive by shootings, executions, street fire, innocent passers by struck by stray bullets, random hits, organised shoot outs, hearing gunfire in the streets on a daily basis is just normal life for many people. I live in a huge city not in the USA and it's a terrifying idea to me that people are living all day every day like that. Sad

^^^ Here's what I had to say back in the middle of Feb., and apparently I had his number then, before this latest. It's a bummer for him to be in jail, again. He had health issues last time he was in, and now this time, but... MOO, I don't know why he chose to do what he did because it was wrong what his son did, and wrong that he tried to help cover it up. ​

completely agree I am seeing it in another case I am following and that young lady is just dead with no coverage no attention....
