I think the police outfit was more to go TO the church unnoticed than be unnoticed IN the church. Nobody would look twice at security around a church.
Agree.

What if they weren't staging a robbery at all? What if they were making sure Missy couldn't get away? They broke glass in windows of doors that could be locked. They opened every door they could easily so that if Missy ran and closed a door they would know which room she was in. When they could not easily pry open the one locked door, they walked on. Perhaps this was not meant to look like a robbery. Perhaps this was a trap set to catch Missy and terrorize her before she was killed. It doesn't make sense for the perp to look at the camera several times and continue to "stage" a robbery/break in.
OMG I hope it doesn't wind up like J Chambers...(I'm still not confident that the named perp is really the perp) but with this case, it may not be too much longer. I think that all the testing has not been completed, even the stupid xxl ladies bloody shirt. JMO
Picture 3 in that batch shows the inside of the door that would have a push bar. I can only see the frame for the bar but it looks like there might be a screw missing in the end and possibly the bar was taken out?
I think the video was put out to put RB at ease.
So many people saw that video and instantly said it looks just like RB (going by comments I've seen on FB, youtube, etc.)
So if they think it is RB, what do the cops do? Not say anything? Say they suspect RB? Or... play stupid and ask the public if they know anyone that walks like this, please let them know? Meanwhile, it's pretty obvious that RB does walk like that (even if he's not the killer).
Doesn't RB realize that he does walk similar to the killer? Isn't he wondering why they haven't named him as a suspect or acted like they think he's a POI? Or is he just that full of himself that he thinks he really fooled 'em? LOL
The narcissistic person would probably think, "Omg, the cops don't even know that's me in the video! How stupid they are!" So he gets comfortable and maybe slips up later?
All above is my opinion only!
I'm not stuck on the 'braided' (or serrated) aspect of the item. One of the enlarged pics posted yesterday shows a similar zig-zaggy appearance in the hallway baseboard. IMO, that is distortion from enlarging (or lighting). JMO
Will try to find the post where I noticed it.
ETA: Here's the pic I refer to. Notice the baseboard:

Do you guys remember in the interview with BB and RB outside the police station, BB says, "They told us it is gona take 8 weeks to test the DNA on that shirt."
I think they were fed that so they think they have more time. No way is it gona take 8 weeks.

If a cell phone can be a mobile hotspot, which my att plan allows, would be able to provide wifi to another device
It could still be a "hit". Killer could have been told to make her suffer.Good evening everyone!
I wanted to just chime in and give my take on this now not being a hired hit. I've changed my mind after rereading "multiple puncture wounds." I may be wrong, but I believe a hired hit man would have used a quick and precise method rather than "multiples" of anything. I also now don't believe he would have meandered about like he did, unless he was checking for other occupants. I believe MB knew the killer.
BBM
How long will it take? TIA

What if wearing the "swat" outfit and then leaving the tools at the crime scene were for the sole purpose of framing another individual???
Pretty darn sure he simply said, "it could take weeks." With no air of authority or actual knowledge of the subject.Do you guys remember in the interview with BB and RB outside the police station, BB says, "They told us it is gona take 8 weeks to test the DNA on that shirt."
