Just a screen shot. Does the Perp have a large nose? Imo

I think that's a baseball hat under the helmet.

Or he has a duckbill for a mouth lol

LOL how stupid can you be to stage a crime like a burglary but not take anything. Or at grab a ton of ish and "drop" it like someone came in and you ran without the stuff.

Edit: forgot we can't say naughty words edited out

That's what happened in the Teresa Sievers case and the ones who actually carried out the hit arrived 12 hours before as part of setting up the staging. It was a professional hit, but it was allegedly carried out by the husband's best friend and another person.

I got some pics of the white thing last night - it appears to me from watching the surveillance video that the killer was not carrying the white thing from the start - it wasn't in the killer's hand until they opened up that first door (before moving to the next door where they tried to pry the door.) After the killer opens that first door then you see that it's in his/her right hand and when he/she moves to that next door he/she places the white thing in a right pocket before proceeding to pry that 2nd door. And from a closeup pic it appears to be shiny/ceramic/braided...almost like some sort of pillar/candle holder/something of that nature.

Concerning the white unidentified object I hope that everyone who works at the church has looked at it to see if it resembles anything in the church. What if it's something the perp didn't bring in but decided to keep it?It could be something so simple that no one has noticed missing yet.Something from the kitchen, office or nursery?

Remember the Jessica Chambers case went for 13 threads and almost 15 months while police were painstakingly poring through cell phone data. From what I understand, that is how the suspect was finally identified. However, in the 15 months between the murder and the naming of a suspect, several times Internet posters were just SURE they had the perp or perps identified. At least three different scenarios and something like five or six people were piled on as the perp du jour. And when the eventual suspect was named, it was someone the Internet had never heard of!

If this case gets solved, I think that is the way it will happen. With months of investigators, poring through cell phone data. If this case was easy to solve, the police would have already arrested a suspect.

It doesn't make sense for the perp to look at the camera several times and continue to "stage" a robbery/break in.

I understand that live streaming is possible. I have never done it myself, but I have watched thousands of live streams over the last 10 years. The question was can’t a GoPro stream live video? I think the answer is no it can’t, without some additional hardware and software, and an internet connection. The camera it’s self being WiFi compatible is not enough to stream.

Also if the killer did stream the murder, which I think is highly unlikely, it should be very easy for the police to find him. Live streaming takes a lot of bandwidth. They would be able to easily find all that data use with the warrants that they have already obtained.

If a cell phone can be a mobile hotspot, which my att plan allows, would be able to provide wifi to another device

Unless he/she thought they would be able to disable/erase video.

I'm not stuck on the 'braided' (or serrated) aspect of the item. One of the enlarged pics posted yesterday shows a similar zig-zaggy appearance in the hallway baseboard. IMO, that is distortion from enlarging (or lighting). JMO

Will try to find the post where I noticed it.

ETA: Here's the pic I refer to. Notice the baseboard:

Perhaps LE has the perfect strategy going, IDK, but it doesn't seem to be inspiring all that much confidence from the local populace that the killer will be found soon. It's pretty obvious that LE does not want any help from us or from other outsiders.

Well, the killer might not be identified soon, if the case is a complex one involving more than a murder (eg. other criminal activity prompting her murder). And signs are it might just be complex in that way...so better slow and thorough, than rushed and sloppy, I guess.

As far as I can see, LE has been very interested in getting usable tips from the public. They put that video out there to see if anyone recognized the gait or walking style, and have been very receptive and thorough concerning tips called in. What they didn't want was all the calls elaborating why a certain person might walk that way (speculation about injury, surgeries, arthritis, club foot, or what have you). But they do want to know if you've seen anyone walk that way (not stand, but walk) - especially if it's someone other than the over-analyzed relatives and friends already called in.

JMO, IMHO.

Prior thread with pics of damage (doesn't include push bar missing like I had thought, but shows other damage if you're interested):

Orig. posted by poirotryinmotion, thank you!
Picture 3 in that batch shows the inside of the door that would have a push bar. I can only see the frame for the bar but it looks like there might be a screw missing in the end and possibly the bar was taken out?

I think the police outfit was more to go TO the church unnoticed than be unnoticed IN the church. Nobody would look twice at security around a church.

What if wearing the "swat" outfit and then leaving the tools at the crime scene were for the sole purpose of framing another individual???

OMG I hope it doesn't wind up like J Chambers...(I'm still not confident that the named perp is really the perp) but with this case, it may not be too much longer. I think that all the testing has not been completed, even the stupid xxl ladies bloody shirt. JMO

It might be simpler than we think. It's not like Missy was a prosecutor, Wall Street trader,
etc, etc... with tons of people that had reasons to go after her. She was a middle aged fitness instructor from a small close knit town, who was a stay at home mom for most of her life. This was a hired hit (IMO) and whoever did the hiring, is very deep in Missy's little circle.

JMO I think the staging was FOR the cameras. JMO

Thanks! ping investigation must be a nightmare! Breck....do you think that local FB blabbing is wayyy off, or do you get the impression that some people are on the right track because of their familiarity with circumstances??? JMO

Honestly, I haven't seen anything on FB, in fact, most are completely silent. I know MANY people connected to this murder and no one says anything on FB bc we realize it could be anyone. The ones who do post elsewhere on SM may live in Midlothian, but from my vantage point do not know those involved.

I also don't read any comments under news stories or pages on FB dedicated to this investigation bc, let's be honest, most people already form their opinions by headlines or without conducting research. I like WS bc everyone is courteous and open to discuss and theorize within realistic boundaries.

Also, towns in Ellis County are all uniquely different. Median income, geography, etc., greatly vary in most places. Therefore, just bc someone says "I live close to Midlothian" or "20 minutes away" doesn't mean they understand the pulse of the community either.

The only thing I see off with some things we've said on WS is assuming KC & MC are great friends of the family. From my sources, they might be acquaintances from their children, but to assume their close friends is not correct, IMO. I'm not saying they have anything to do with Missy's murder whatsoever, I just wanted to note that information.

I think the video was put out to put RB at ease.

So many people saw that video and instantly said it looks just like RB (going by comments I've seen on FB, youtube, etc.)

So if they think it is RB, what do the cops do? Not say anything? Say they suspect RB? Or... play stupid and ask the public if they know anyone that walks like this, please let them know? Meanwhile, it's pretty obvious that RB does walk like that (even if he's not the killer).

Doesn't RB realize that he does walk similar to the killer? Isn't he wondering why they haven't named him as a suspect or acted like they think he's a POI? Or is he just that full of himself that he thinks he really fooled 'em? LOL

The narcissistic person would probably think, "Omg, the cops don't even know that's me in the video! How stupid they are!" So he gets comfortable and maybe slips up later?

All above is my opinion only!
