LOL how stupid can you be to stage a crime like a burglary but not take anything. Or at grab a ton of ish and "drop" it like someone came in and you ran without the stuff.
Edit: forgot we can't say naughty words edited out
I got some pics of the white thing last night - it appears to me from watching the surveillance video that the killer was not carrying the white thing from the start - it wasn't in the killer's hand until they opened up that first door (before moving to the next door where they tried to pry the door.) After the killer opens that first door then you see that it's in his/her right hand and when he/she moves to that next door he/she places the white thing in a right pocket before proceeding to pry that 2nd door. And from a closeup pic it appears to be shiny/ceramic/braided...almost like some sort of pillar/candle holder/something of that nature.

Remember the Jessica Chambers case went for 13 threads and almost 15 months while police were painstakingly poring through cell phone data. From what I understand, that is how the suspect was finally identified. However, in the 15 months between the murder and the naming of a suspect, several times Internet posters were just SURE they had the perp or perps identified. At least three different scenarios and something like five or six people were piled on as the perp du jour. And when the eventual suspect was named, it was someone the Internet had never heard of!
Agree. If this case gets solved, I think that is the way it will happen. With months of investigators, poring through cell phone data. If this case was easy to solve, the police would have already arrested a suspect.
I understand that live streaming is possible. I have never done it myself, but I have watched thousands of live streams over the last 10 years. The question was can’t a GoPro stream live video? I think the answer is no it can’t, without some additional hardware and software, and an internet connection. The camera it’s self being WiFi compatible is not enough to stream.
Also if the killer did stream the murder, which I think is highly unlikely, it should be very easy for the police to find him. Live streaming takes a lot of bandwidth. They would be able to easily find all that data use with the warrants that they have already obtained.
It doesn't make sense for the perp to look at the camera several times and continue to "stage" a robbery/break in.

Perhaps LE has the perfect strategy going, IDK, but it doesn't seem to be inspiring all that much confidence from the local populace that the killer will be found soon. It's pretty obvious that LE does not want any help from us or from other outsiders.
Picture 3 in that batch shows the inside of the door that would have a push bar. I can only see the frame for the bar but it looks like there might be a screw missing in the end and possibly the bar was taken out?Prior thread with pics of damage (doesn't include push bar missing like I had thought, but shows other damage if you're interested):

The more I think about this case and the more of these threads I read, the more I realize I know nothing. Sigh....

Thanks! ping investigation must be a nightmare! Breck....do you think that local FB blabbing is wayyy off, or do you get the impression that some people are on the right track because of their familiarity with circumstances??? JMO
