BREAKING Fourth person arrested in the investigation into 39 lorry deaths in Grays, Essex. The 48-year-old man was arrested at Stansted Airport. Essex Police appeal for anyone living illegally in the UK to come forward and give them information. They vow not to prosecute them.

• Two more people have been arrested in connection with the case. A man and a woman, both aged 38, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and of 39 counts of manslaughter.
• The people who were tragically found dead in the lorry are believed to be Chinese Nationals.
• Chinese ‘snakehead’ gangsters are thought to be behind the deaths.
• The 25-year-old lorry driver from N.Ireland remains in custody after the courts granted a detention extension.

We have arrested a fourth man in connection with the investigation into the deaths of 39 people found in a lorry contained in #Grays.

We continue to ask the press and public not to speculate about the identities of any of those involved.

There's now quite a lot of police activity there at their house, we've seen it 20 minutes ago.

Nice motors they have, that’s about £90k of cars on that drive. Not bad for a hairdressers and lorry company owner with poor financial accounts... I think I should have trained to be a hairdresser or lorry driver instead of a lawyer seeing the money these folk all seem to have ...

errrrr no. They aren’t confirming nationality as per press conference, they were believed to be Chinese nationals but no confirmation will take place until the coroner has been involved in the ID... and a fourth person has been arrested also (48 year old man)...

Curious the driver is still being held on a murder charge. Wonder if he somehow turned the fridge on as the rest are on manslaughter charges...

It also strikes me as odd that the messages translate to her saying she is Vietnamese with her address to her mom and dad. Maybe she did it so the police would know who she was MOO

Both/either. You can turn the fridge on/off from the cab OR from the trailer itself (says my lorry driver partner lol).

Don't be too concerned about what accounts show on CH. They've got a white corvette and 2 range rovers, all are leased not bought.
