So he called her, she then commented on a photo on Instagram telling him to meet her ( which is unheard of ). The next morning she messages him asking why he called to which he replies ‘ it was nothing’. Unless they were both in it together it makes no sense at all.

Yes this doesn't make any sense. The call happened before they apparently met up didn't it? So it doesn't add up.

Not sure if this answers your question but it was stated previously - 'it would be difficult to extract DNA due to it being soaked in salt water for a number of days.'

They got his DNA off them so hopefully forensics can be recalled to confirm that had they been in the sea that long then they wouldn’t be able to get any.

Commenting on old photos seems like both a strange AND public way to communicate, especially when you're "friends-with-benefits".

Old photos won't show up on other folks Instagram feeds therefore no one would be aware of the messages they would be sending. In saying that there are easier ways of contacting people. I think he's trying to account for the lack of direct messages between him and TM

If we were to believe his story then it leaves very little time for TM to collect the used condom, go home and take Alesha, find an implement, carry out the rape, murder and plant evidence. Then go clear all traces of her being involved, dump a hoodie, go home possibly clean herself up and go to sleep all before 6am.
