I live directly across from Bute. It may be odd but it isn't completely impossible, particularly given it was mid-summer. The point i'm making is that we do not know exactly who or what it is in that CCTV.
Small community, pretty sure the other person would be clamouring to say it was them to help the case.

Only going to say it one more time the palm print was found in the internal home only used by the MacPhail family. Earlier we debated if the accused could of left it on a previous visit due to RM not being entirely sure if the accused had been inside his home but the accused has just admitted he was never in the house, well he was certainly never ‘invited’ in that’s for sure.

Still innocent in your eyes?
We aren't privy to how it's being worded in court, but as I'm reading it, I think it's still unclear what they mean by inside the house. I would not classify that stairwell, even if it's single use as being inside their house.

Exactly - 'described as', not proven given the image quality is so poor. It may well be Alesha's legs, but they cannot prove it, the same as they cannot prove the person on the shore carrying whatever it is, is the accused.
No murderer would ever get convicted if we thought like this. It’s “beyond a reasonable doubt” because of course sometimes it can’t be proven because it’s not all filmed on cctv and it isn’t a easy clean and cut case. You have to draw The line somewhere. The evidence is overwhelming I can’t believe you are still unconvinced!

Connor Gillies‏Verified account @ConnorGillies

Boy appears to screw his nose up over confusion at a question from the prosecution. Iain McSporran QC says “not the last you’ll hear from me”.

Ha ha doesn’t like it - the question was -
Prosecution says “I’d suggest to you it’s a fabrication” and it’s “complete nonsense” the story about losing his jogging bottoms and boxers in the sea.

He replies “it is 100% not”

Fraser Knight‏ @Fraser_Knight

Iain McSporran QC goes through the story the accused gave of his boxers and joggers ending up in the sea on the Friday before Alesha’s death. “I suggest to you this is a fabrication” he puts to the accused. “It’s 100% true” the accused says back.

If TM had had any involvement, she absolutely would not have included any “kisses” in the fb texts between them. And if acting together, I don’t think they are sophisticated enough to have left the conversation that they did, which was fairly understated- asking him to keep an eye out etc. I think it would have been much more “over elaborated” imo.

Sounds like he's getting rattled now...

You wouldnt normally find a chair lift in a communal stair well though would you? I mean you might but the odds are small.

I get that you aren’t entirely convinced by the prosecution but are you convinced of the defence so far or can you also see holes in that too? Just genuinely curious to another point of view.

I wonder if Rab Mcphail is back in court ?? Hopefully he will be there to see the evil thing be caught out in his lies

In a retirement/sheltered accommodation block yes, I haven't heard anything about this being one?

It's not communal, I accept that, but having lived in similar accommodation in the UK, I would not have classed the stairwell (even single use) as inside the house.

Just offering another take. :) I hope we get clarification.

Whereas I would.

I agree that the way it’s worded in court could make a difference.

I'm assuming the Jury will have seen photos of the stairwell ? So they will know ?
