Know what you mean but then again I dare say Aaron's mum did not think he was a killer eitherI never seen that video but i know what you mean, my youngest does the same thing. I can laugh because i know mine isn't a killer.

Who seen him carrying aleasha that night ?In my job (education) I’ve worked with boys who are similar to him from those YouTube videos at first glance. Outdoorsy, enjoy adrenaline sports, self-assured, a bit cocky, sometimes goofy and silly. It’s sad and shocking to think the boy in those videos could go on to murder a child. Perhaps that’s why this case has grabbed us, we find it so difficult to understand.
If only someone close to him had realised something was wrong and reported his odd behaviour (talking about murdering for the life experience, hurting animals etc.) Or challenged him that night when he was seen carrying Alesha. Maybe that could have prevented it.

Thought I’d missed something there and it had said he was seenNobody, as far as I know. Sorry, edited now. I just meant it’s a shame he wasn't seen/ challenged.

That's why most of us are here. Thanks for posting.
"...But if I learnt anything covering the Alesha MacPhail trial, it was that there is no such thing as “monsters”. Psychopaths are people. Perhaps that is the hardest truth."
This is why I'm still here.
Thanks so much for posting, wanted to read but too mean to subscribe! It's a terrible tale, almost as bad as I thought it could be!
Janette said: “He blamed me and my son blamed me as I was the one who phoned the police."
That's an unusual position for a father to take. Although most parents want to protect their children, his belief that evidence implicating AC in the rape and murder of a child should have been concealed from the police is absolutely shocking. Makes you wonder what else AC was able to get away with.
Exactly, you would think at the very least he would stick around for his daughter.Mum has taken the brunt of the flack from what Aaron has done as she stuck around, didn't run away like his Dad did and yet, I can't help but wonder ... was Chris protecting himself? Does he have a guilty conscience? Why would his first reaction be 'pack a bag and leave' his wife AND his daughter at a time when they surely needed him more than ever?
I did copy it in here but got deleted. Didn't realise we can't do that. You can register and read 2 articles per month for free.
Notice the typical Campbell reaction, scared she'll be attacked rather than being appalled at what her evil son has done!
