Just wait till she bombs the prison authorities with complaints about her treatment.
She is in her element, keeping everybody on their toes :)

I just wanted to say thank you to all the members on here, it’s been good to be able to talk about this heartbreaking case and discussing the trial with you all. Our conversations have always been so civilised, respectful and insightful, even though we have been discussing the most saddest of cases and not always had the same opinions. Wishing each of you all the very best, thank you all for the conversations we’ve had over the past few weeks xxxxxx
I am really really grateful for all the wise and kind words I read here from all of you. Obviously our sadness and despair at reading and thinking about this is absolutely zero compared to the unspeakable trauma that Arthur experienced. Nonetheless it has been so reassuring to see that many people feel the same way and help each other through the experience and grief. It is difficult to keep the faith in this country after what happened. This forum helps a lot. Thank you.

The video of them tucking into icecreams is sickening!! Was the door to the room open or closed? And TH walking right by Arthur with them. Think vid was taken on 13th June, so Arthur in bad shape by that time. Everyone online seems to be focused on how bad ET is, seem to be forgetting about TH, hes worse in my eyes. Oh god, they are different level evil watching that video and her legs spralled all over TH, they would make your skin actually crawl
This video should be the Oxford English Dictionary definition of “smug b*stards”. With the their stupid big ice-creams and stupid body-language and stupid smiles. They look as happy and as thick as pigs in sh*t. Also should come under the dictionary definition of bully. Stealing ice-cream from a starving child on a hot day. It will be a very very long time hopefully before they eat anything like that again.

They are reporting on something that happened in April. Terrible reporting using present tense for what has been reported in other media as having happened before trial and during trial.

Funnily enough, the same though ran through my mind today.

I dont know if you noticed, but in video of icecreams, a bedding is thrown behind a curtain.

Bedding on the floor - as if for a dog :(

Well spotted, put away by Arthur? In day time? I wrote here before on it, but Cinderella…

The more I think about this characterisation of life for poor Arthur the more it makes sense. He was in a hell, but any movement or deviation at all (from standing dead straight on the step) and the hell became even worse. They would beat him or starve him even more. That is the definition of a local maximum mathematically. On top of a tiny hill when high mountains are nearby. He was also denied movement and being curious a basic right of not just humans but animals.

No wonder they look so 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 smug eating their stupid ice-creams. They had him right where they wanted him. Zero parental duty accomplished.

It also shows how brave he was to leave the step and try to escape, knowing it would lead to horrific punishment.

I seriously think the State should award him a proper official actual war-hero medal for his courage and bravery.

How about this one for civilian gallantry? Why not? I think it sums up exactly what Arthur faced and did. The State utterly failed him. This is the least it can do.

Unlike other honours, gallantry awards may be awarded posthumously.

The George Cross (GC) - introduced in 1940, is granted only for acts of gallantry of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger.

Petition: Award the George Cross to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes

If you happen to agree, that Arthur deserves this or something like it… please sign. I don’t know how these awards work. Nothing can bring Arthur back, but I just think his courage should be formally recognised.

what I wrote was

Award the George Cross to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes

The George Cross may be awarded to civilians and posthumously. Arthur displayed most conspicuous courage in circumstance of extreme danger.

Arthur showed exceptional courage and bravery in a war-like situation over many months. He also launched a daring bid to escape at the end despite being starved, beaten, poisoned, tortured, bullied, abandoned, denied water, or movement. The State abjectly failed this boy. He is a hero of the land. It is the least he deserves.”

I agree. I’m sure the family will put their feelings aside for his final act of love. He lived in such turmoil throughout his life. Please just lay him to rest. Any burial site will be ok. As long as both parties are allowed to attend. I think he would want both of his grannies there.

Unfortunately, they haven't for the past 17 months :/ The more time goes on the more I am angered by TH's family.

I really think that Arthur's mother and her family should get to choose where he is buried (this is the dispute that is keeping him in the mortuary). After all, as all mothers do, she risked her life and health to give him life. Also, her side of the family didn't murder him. Finally, normally it is the parents who choose where a deceased child is buried. Since both are imprisoned, it should be the choice of the parent who didn't kill the child.

TH family are being very selfish on this matter. Most normal families would be feeling second-hand guilt in this situation. They've done enough damage by 1) raising such a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in the first place 2) doing their utmost to gloss over the blame for said 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in court, helping to reduce his sentence and conviction, and 3) with their disgusting victim impact statement, ensuring the public's focus is on ET as the evil one, while TH will be forgotten, even though he was just as bad, if not worse than ET for those last 3 months.

Wasn't full custody of Arthur given to his father when his mother was sent to prison? Maybe the court needs to appoint a neutral person to take over Arthur's care. Because Arthur is deceased would his father still be his legal guardian?
What a mess! MOO
