He is moving in this video like an 80 year old and the fact he's even trying to put the quilt away is abnormal to me because none of my kids would do that without me having to nag them into it. He's been so conditioned by this point, he knows what to expect if he doesn't. There's just no words..

I thought that too, he's absolutely broken. And my kids never straighten their duvets either, never mind fold them up. The fact he's no energy, and he knows he has to do this because he'll be punished is heartbreaking. So this is the the little boy who we're supposed to believe was throwing himself at the upstairs door, had the energy to headbutt ET, and sit on all 4s banging his head off the concrete floor. Or was her other version of events he climbed the stairs in 14 seconds, and threw himself down? Even though she admitted climbing those same stairs took him a while, I believe she described it as like climbing a mountain? And also had the energy to push ET down the stairs whilst getting her haircut causing poor ET to her hurt ankle and back?

If you walked down the stairs, after sleeping in a warm cosy bed, to your son in this state, any normal person would bring him straight to a doctor. Not dragging him a hairdressers house, to leave him standing at a door to shout abuse at. TH is worse in my book. ET evil alright but Arthur was his son

I agree, he had to have realised how unwell his son was and he did nothing to help him, only contributed to his abuse.

I honestly end up so perplexed with how sentences are determined. What actually constitutes a whole life tariff?

Exactly! You'd be straight to see a medical professional. He's dying in this video. If ET hadn't *allegedly* banged his head off the concrete floor, would TH have had the balls to take him to see a medical professional?

I think in Daniel Pelkas case it was 30 years before they could apply for parole. I'm not sure if the guidelines have been updated since then though

Would this not fall under sadistic? It’s prolonged torture, there is clear evidence both audibly and visually, both defendants constantly messaged about it, smiling emoji at the mention of tasers (the list is endless).
Or am I grasping at straws…..

Offenders aged 21 years or over
Where the offender is 21 or over at the time of the offence and the court takes the view that the murder is so grave that the offender should spend the rest of their life in prison, a 'whole life order' is the appropriate starting point. The early release provisions in section 28 of the Crime (Sentences) Act 1997 will then not apply. Such an order should only be specified where the court considers that the seriousness of the offence is exceptionally high. Such cases include:

a) the murder of two or more persons where each murder involves a substantial degree of premeditation, the abduction of the victim, or sexual or sadistic conduct;
b) the murder of a child if involving the abduction of the child or sexual or sadistic motivation;
c) a murder done for the purpose of advancing a political, religious or ideological cause; or
d) a murder by an offender previously convicted of murder.

She's got to get a conviction. Didn't she complain her cell mate was stealing her stuff and had beat her up?
She's only a hard woman when she's dealing with a defenceless, vulnerable and broken little boy.

I wondered if it's because there's worse to come? There's been numerous parts of the live feed where 45 minutes passed with no court report update, and then the briefest update given. I know in Baby Ps and Daniel Ps case body maps showing injuries were released. Neither had as many injuries as Arthur, although Baby P had a broken back, torn off ear and fingers and toes. Maybe this isn't the worst of the evidence?

What's even sadder is he had a loving family. Both his maternal and paternal families wanted to be involved in his life. And they were cut out of his life.
