Are these enhancements police approved ?
I'm not sure the Police would be fussed but if it enabled this person to be identified beyond doubt, then I'm sure they would be delighted. It may even turn out to be a Cuban man from Hale. Who knows!

Patrick Barkham: Missing Claudia Lawrence - Ten days of helplessness
here it is again! I think it is important to go back to the beginning !
I think the answers ( to the questions) given to the reporter are not necessarily correct .
The police and media talked to ‘ I knew her best brigade ‘friends. And this is no criticism of her friends and probably stems from her ability to make people feel special .
Did she have boyfriend trouble ? Some didn’t even know she had a boyfriend.
Was she on medication ? Do you always tell people when you start taking a course of tablets ?
Incidentally and this is a genuine question, remember 10 days later still a missing person search, do the police have a right to her medical report ?
An other question was: did she have money problems ?
Most of us have money problems especially if you have a mortgage, set your heart on a Greek holiday and then your car breaks down needing a new engine .
It’s all relative of course.
And the person who knew her longest wasn’t even consulted ie her mother.

perhaps they got a clearer shot of him than we are being shown... and thats why properties nearby came under particular scrutiny and were searched

then, popejohn, your comment about blood being thicker than water was a complete red herring, or can you explain it further
Oh I was referring to Yozzer’s expression of ‘blood is thicker than water ‘
Please ask her what she meant .

Or the police were given a name.
But I would like to believe the police would give the public the clearest sharpest picture available

oh, popejohn...dont pretend you dont know
it means that, when push comes to shove, you would look after someone you're related to rather than someone who isn't in your family.
you said, that if we believed this, we would never crack the case.
as it can't apply to the persons of interest, as no one has been charged, you must have meant that someone from Claudius family is putting someone else's interest above hers.
along with most people on this thread, I think you're coming up with any remark you can to deflect interest away from the people the police have declared to hold the key to this case.
you must have realised that it has reached a point where it is counterproductive and its making me concur more and more with what the police have said.

going off in a hissy fit

Fhs this is the last time I’m going to repeat it
No I do not believe for one moment that her family are hiding anything or anyone

Six months have gone bye since her last anniversary!
Another six months to her 12 th anniversary I don’t know how her parents manage to stay this strong .Bless them .
But I have a feeling this case will be solved before her next anniversary .

Ive asked this question some posts back
: would the police have automatic right to a missing person’s medical history ?
An adult at that ?

Looks like they would need a court order.

The GMC’s new Confidentiality guidance, which came into effect on 25 April 2017, says that you must not disclose personal information to a third party without the patient’s explicit consent unless it is of overall benefit to a patient lacking the capacity to consent, required by law, ordered by a court, or justifiable in the public interest.

View attachment 259455 View attachment 259456 View attachment 259457 I Was just thinking regarding the male driving around locally in a white van trying to talk to woman was perhaps someone like this guy? Pensioner agrees to stay away from red light zone

Man seen outside Claudia's house on the morning of her disappearance - North Yorkshire Police

Grey Long length windswept hair I wonder if he was known to wear a light coloured mac
I also noted in the article @Vixey posted that he suffers from insomnia I wonder what car he drives
