In the article the police speculate that she might have been killed in her house .
Why would you complicate things by removing her body through the back door ?
Why not leaving her where she was ?
Now if you lived with someone that would make sense... get the body out and claim they just left in a huff.
The police would know if an attempt was made to remove fingerprints for example
police find no fingerprints say on a fridge door or toilet door where they ought to be then it would be obvious some cover up has taken place.
Now if you’ve killed someone in your own car and personally I think this is what happened in this case, you have no choice but to remove the body.
Also please look at the two photos of Claudia in the above article , one is a close up .
This is ideal for possible witnesses that did not know her like bar staff and shop assistants.
People that knew her did not need a photo
IE Jo recognised her from the back that’s why she stopped to give her a lift .

im not disputing the usefulness of that photo in itself, pj, but I would say, that if id been one of her friends, id have made sure that the public knew that she probably had dark hair at the time, because, for example, it would certainly have made a difference if someone saw her going by in a car, or walking along the road, but couldn't see her features close up....theyd probably have dismissed a dark haired woman out of hand.

I dont know where she was killed, but I dont think it was planned...if she was killed in her house, taking her out the back way would have avoided anyone on the street or road....maybe they removed the body because of possible forensics...or it might just be that the police checked the alley because they had the cctv or simply on the off chance because they hadn't checked it before...rather late, obviously

There would have been threats that she talked about and / or others witnessed !

just to check if im getting this right, vixey....you think that the red van and or the silver car were deliberately following claudia ...and do you think they were doing a pincer journey to arrive at her house.

if either case is true, there's a lot more planning in this than I thought.

I’m not sure she was staying away from the NH
Wasn’t she there the previous Sunday?
Didn’t she plan to see SC the following Thursday?
Wasn’t her father away on holidays a couple of weeks before she disappeared and probably driving his car while he was on holiday with her Aunty?
Just because she went to the Acomb area does not necessarily mean she was keeping away from the NH .imo

kir....sorry, im. a complete technical numpty.....I had noticed claudia walking backwards but assumed it was a glitch....I imagine she must have spoken to someone in-between, so I can only assume it was edited either

1....the person is of no interest and they wanted a short clip.
2 ...the person is of interest and they're keeping us in the dark for some reason.

I just wish the police would tell us if its the former...save us wasting our time.
I can't see what they could gain from keeping it secret....the person must know the police. have got them on cctv...the police dont need to identify them...just say she spoke to someone but they're not of interest

I believe the (similar looking)van is seen in uni cctv twice and again by the postbox cctv on melrosegate. I believe I can see people in cctv inside the uni and as she walks out looking hidden, probably innocently. I feel Claudia had upset person/S and feel it was planed and I feel those close to her either know why and who was involved.Also the sudden Concern after months of Claudia walking to work by a friend in malton and family, quick response by police from what I gather and a Constant I don’t know response! I feel it’s odd Suzy before heading to leamington did not speak to Claudia on the Friday prior in the nags head, she does not know if peter was there that night as usual Friday and she did not know the group of people Claudia was sat with, yet Jen knew she had got a little too drunk and perhaps embarrassed herself as Claudia was concerned she had spoken out of tongue. Claudia cancelled again her sisters visit as helping a friend, Jen confirmed it was her she was supporting at the time, I do wonder what was so wrong it needed immediate attention. This all could be due to the fact her friends can not reveal and public are just not privy to this information, but why join chat groups with the intention to do just that! I don’t know but it seems so strange how little was known about Claudia and her life, almost if they never asked how she was or getting to work whilst car off road. Not a glance as passing to and from the pub that Thursday evening to see if any lights on or wether Claudia was at home after being stood up, you naturally would. Was just going over Suzy’s feelings on some of her comments regarding Claudia and thinking .... sorry about the added ramblings

Jen didn’t know about Friday and Saturday because she was away ! And no point in speculation .But I can speculate she met up with her dad on that Friday and then she was also in there on that Sunday also planning to be there on Thursday so that is normal to my mind... every one keeps saying she went to the NH once or twice a week

From what I’ve been reading, Claudia was without a car for about 1 perhaps 2 months
Her car broke down in the snow in Feb . In the beginning she probably had the use of her father’s car ( on occasions he said).
She also got lifts from and to the uni .

If it was a technical gliche then everything would travelling in reverse not just that figure..

Have you considered she may have been given a lift to the Post box?
Studying the footage of the vehicles travelling that road in both directions there could be several vehicles of interest
from 1.26 to 1.29 the footage is obvious edited the red van shoots past in a blink of an eye, if you watch the traffic after that the passing vehicles stay in view a much longer ...
The vehicles that may be worth a closer look are the silver car and the white van(similar to the one parked outside Quartz Travel )these are travelling towards the Uni
The vehicle I found interesting was the vehicle at 1.24-1.26 you may think its the red van approaching but on looking closer you can see the image has been tampered with, in my opinion it looks like the black truck.

@Vixey I decided to check out a figure in the canteen cctv which I thought may be a female in a long light coloured raincoat leaning over the counter but on close u it looked more like a side on view of a male in a light coloured hooded windsheeter. Did you notice it at all
Also in the bottom screenshot there appears to be someone with Cl as she walks out of the main door
