first of all, when its. said that its pretty sure that the perp had been inside the house, does that mean that evening, or just that it was someone who'd been friendly with claudia and would have visited from time to time.

the report with the enhanced images says that its almost certain that the alley man was local because of his knowledge of the streets and the frequency with which he appeared on cctv....that isn't necessarily borne out by the cctv weve seen, so is it an exaggeration or do the police have more cctv of this man.

I read somewhere...dont know if its true...that a local claudia knew strengthened suspicion in the police when they made mistakes when asked about the street layout in the local area.

are we convinced claudia was at home during the phone conversation with her mother.

im not convinced about the love jealousy motivation...unless were talking. about jk who'd have seen it as a betrayal of a close friendship.....id have thought if it was a local man who knew claudia, he wouldn't have been surprised to find she had not been faithful

ive heard the theory that a builder....unless they were gripped by panic....would be unlikely to bury a body in a concrete structure because it could cause a pocket of air which could cause the structure to break.

is this true and, if so, would it occur over such a long period of time that whoever buried it could take the attitude that they'd be dead by then, so it wouldn't matter

The all nighter was the Monday night PJ I doubt CL would have left those dishes in the sink for a couple of days.

We know that weds evening she:-
19:27 her phone called her father
20:08 -20:27 Claudia exchanged texts with her friends
20:04 -20:14 Claudia and her mother speak on the phone
21:12 the last text was received on Claudia’s phone and she failed to reply.
Lets lay aside the texts as you can text and converse with another person without the person you are texting knowing.

I dont know how long the calls were but CL could have made or received them when her house guest was in the house but not in the same room ie taking a bathroom break, outside smoking a cigarette or making some private calls himself.. They could of even gone out to costcutters or the Nags for all we know because we arent sure who it is (not yet anyway)

Yep I stand corrected it was probably Monday night but she would have hinted of a guest to her mother or father especially if he was the guy who harmed her she would have had vibs Imo
For all we know the police have been told who had a drink with her in her house!
But still say the all nighter happened at her house and that is why ... as the police said an attractive woman like her would have been remembered!
No one saw her which indicates she spent the all nighter at her place or his place IMO

the big problem with claudia is that we haven't got anyone whose word we can trust.
id have thought that, as far as men who drank in the nags were concerned, she could have found out if shed tried...unless some people found it a great joke to lie to her....maybe sc would have tried to warn her, but if claudia was drunk, would she have listened.

as for men outside the nags, I couldn't say.

I know. her first fling was with a married man, but was he together with his wife when the affair started.

from what people have said, she seemed to enjoy the power

to be honest, from what we know she didn't seem to be keen to break up with someone when she found out they were married but nor did she pine when they broke up with her....but we dont have any objective accounts.

it still seems to me that there was something missing in her emotional makeup.

I know someone with mild learning difficulties whose beloved pet cat was run over when she was 5....her parents dreaded telling her....but it was water off a ducks back....well just have to get. another one

are you sure she would have had. vibes, popejohn....just thinking about the murder case in the newspapers today where a. young. woman. was murdered by a friend and shed told people shed be ok because he. was walking her home.

when. she phoned her mother, he may not yet have arrived, so that could have been the reason she didn't pick up any vibes.

in addition, I dont personally think her death was planned and they may have consumed alcohol or drugs after shed spoken to her mother.....which may have changed either his or both his and her moods drastically

In the last few days I’ve been asking myself what is the point in discussing this case to death unless it can help to get justice for CL and her family. And also what sleuths can realistically do, besides coming up with theories which Malyn are not interested in, assuming that NYP know who’s responsible and just need more evidence or crucial info, e.g.
1) body remains;
2) a confession or a credible witness statement of someone who has been on the receiving end of a confession;
3) a recording of an incriminating conversation between the perps (or on social media);
4) DNA evidence (not sure of what);
5) a missing item of Claudia’s (rucksack, hair straighteners or phone) with her DNA on it. Highly unlikely but some killers keep souvenirs;
6) phone data analysed with advanced techniques;
7) Claudia turning up alive (the most unlikely scenario).

Can you think of anything else? And how could sleuths help with any of the above or other?

Did a pic of police carrying an evidence box containing GHD hair straighteners not appear somewhere? I’m sure I recall seeing one. Can’t find it now however ...

Because JK was most certainly involved with a very dodgy company who now have hmrc threads raging at them about the tax contractor and people who used her ‘umbrella firm’ Have to pay which her company (or which she was a director but also worked at at the time of Claudia’s disappearance). DW was also involved with a similarly strange company at this time (endeavour plc)

Her new company appears to be similar type business. The company she worked for at time of Claudias disappearance had links to a chap of Asian appearance and also South Africans (of note given Claudia was sighted in South Africa apparently)....

ive heard of various men being seen, but I dont think id heard that one had been seen there specifically then.

the companies that jk etc was or is involved in....I think you usually find that well known locals like these are involved in lots of scams.....in my. hometown one of these infamous families were awarded the contracts when residential homes for the elderly were taken out of council control.....dont ask

lots of shady characters for claudia to get involved with or upset

Well yes ( to alcohol) if you believe the pint glasses were used Wednesday night !
How come the police did not say and ask the public if anyone had a drink with her on the Wednesday ?

Well you answered your own questions re vibes if the phone call came just at the right time ( which in Claudia’s case was if you believe she was already with her murderer )

We all know that if the taxman catches you cheating they try their hardest to get you to pay as much and as soon as you can . It is not in their interest to put you away !
But murder is a completely different thing !
