Blake's dad owned the house where his son lived in Heworth Road and he lived in Cyprus at the time of CL's disappearance. I wonder what intelligence the decision to search that property was based on. Perhaps a Cyprus coincidence?
Complaint filed about damage caused by police in hunt for Claudia Lawrence

From what I can make out from the bus cam footage I can totally understand why he was questioned and the house searched
I would have a few questions I would like to ask him too

These are my opinions

Anywhere near Phaphos @Eyes Wide Open..
do you know if he was friendly was he with Steve Sammons and Robbie Campbell
Nothing known other than what the 2009 article stated, i.e. "Age47" and "lives in Cyprus and owns a fibre optics company". According to Co House records he had been the technical director for a very successful lighting company based in London from 1994 until leaving the company in 2000. He had moved up to 31 East Parade, York in approx 1995 and that was sold in 1999. His house in Heworth Rd was acquired in 1999 and his name was on the E/Roll in 2002 (no other dates available). In 2009 he lived in Cyprus and his son Blake lived at Heworth Rd, which was sold in 2013. He must have visited Heworth Rd as Blake told NYP his dad had cut his hair for him in the back garden. Blake said that NYP first searched the house in mid April (3 weeks after CL's disappearance) and again, with force, when Blake was out at work on 7th July 2009. Hopefully NYP satisfied themselves over the reason for their search and the haircut, etc.

Ok so if the man on the bus who is of key interest to me boarded the bus in East Parade it probably wasnt because he had been in at the property previously owned by Berresford's father. Richard Cartwright also owned and rented properties in East Parade so could he have been at one of those.
That could give us possible activity around rented properties owned by RC in Heworth Place and East Parade.
But when I looked at the photo of the man boarding the bus you can see a sheltered Bus stop the only sheltered bus stops on East Parade are on the left hand side of the road heading away from the Heworth rd crossroads junction so what route did this bus take if as the police state it went past the route Claudia would take to work.
Did he actually get on at East Parade?

The hair thing is annoyingly left without a clear explaination was it blakes hair? that should be pretty easy to establish but no one said yes it was and yes its confirmed his father did cut his hair in the garden. Or is this another 'we know people are lying to us' situation.
Its not unusual for the police to offer us clues though and sometimes they can come in in the guise of these 'trigger events' that we have heard they diliberately put out there, could the police have been sending a message to the criminals about what they found and they are on to them.
Was it real hair .. some criminals do use disguises

The man in the bus doesn't look to me like an 21 year old. Maybe it deceives.

kir,
I didn't get an answer from the TV serial expert, I hoped to get. If I will possibly remember the show, I will tell you!

Could it be the resemblance of the bus passenger to his son ?

I can see where you are coming from PJ but in my opinion its not B.B
Ive looked quite closely at the stills and in my opinion when the man boards the bus he presents the driver with a Badge id
One Badge can be seen hanging from his left front trouser pocket which you can see in the still before he boards the bus, he has another on his left breast pocket which more difficult to see you have to lift the image to get a glimpse of this one.

What are those badges ... and are they genuine or are they fake

Have they replied, how have you found them?

I have years ago they nearly always answer with a question and seem deliberately quite ready to take offence and not ready to engage probably due to police pressure and cranks too I suppose .bless them .

1E3A98E4-CDDD-4856-95E3-D352C3505AE9.png I think R Gollway comments on tv Should be interpreted just like Nicola Filfied
does here ‘ complex and secretive private life with A succession of different men . And that’s it no cloak and dagger operations

I would remind you what G. Tubb says in the Donal MacIntyre documentry
The police team were not told by some of the people close to Claudia how she lived her life
1. The people whom she worked with saw one Claudia
2. The people who she socialised with perhaps saw another Claudia
3. And then there was perhaps another Claudia

he goes on to say that newspaper journalists themselves were having promblems getting to the bottom of the relationships that Ray Galloway had eluded too were.
Some of the people that we wanted to talk to didnt want to talk to us some of them had lifestyles that werent necessarily compatiable with openly answering questions from journalists or police.

Its pretty clear to me PJ that people who have lifestyle that are not compatible with answering questions from journalists or police are people that do not lead law abiding lifestyles.

Personally I see this as an area of CL's life that could offer vital clues into why and how she disappeared

I’m not sure it necessarily has to be lifestyles outside the law, just lifestyles that would compromise the personal and professional statuses and relationships of those involved if ever made public.

As it would be if the case ever came to court.

I think the police know perfectly well who did this, how they did it and why they did it. They just can’t prove it to a standard that would result in a conviction.

If the police know who and how and why surely they can have a shot at it especially now that a person can be brought to court in the future for the same offence ?

I thought they did, but the CPS knocked it back. They must need mire evidence.

Bottom line is PJ that they just cant prove she's dead
