If your room and bed had been used whilst you were on holiday you would be seriously naffed off too. Just supposing. JMO

perhaps they has seized the opportunity to let his room out while he was on holiday to make some money.

I’m betting he was more annoyed by the mess the police would have made while checking locked rooms in that pub !!

No I for one would not have looked inside ( unless I was site security ) but perhaps put it on a wall or somewhere out of the way the owner is sure to come back for them.
@Popejohn3 We all would react differently would we not?

Particularly as she could use the back alley which led directly from the NH rear carpark to her house.
And ease of access egress to the Nags rooms via the fire escape

@Officer Dibble Yes, Of course there were more rooms above Nags and could have been used. I wondered if the Nags member of staff who went on holiday who was also known to have a silver French car may have been more miffed that his car had been used whilst he was away.

I believe he had planned to be away for 3 weeks and parking his car at the airport for that period of time would have been as expensive as his flights?
Who had his car keys whilst he was away?
Did he loan his car to Claudia and not tell anyone else to help her out?

@Popejohn3 he was said to like Claudia so would he not understand the necessary intrusion?

What does BBM mean, sorry I am new and need to learn this?
As I understand the Claudia’s story was being told ( and heard ) in dribs and drabs.
The guy must have heard about the missing girl and her rucksack and he goes ‘actually I’ve just seen a similar rucksack ‘
Often people pick up such items and put them on a wall or hung on a branch for the owner to return...
@Popejohn3 But as was reported, the person who hung it on a tree then went on to photograph it-Really???

P_L was also said to attend on Friday nights. Are you saying that Police attended many Friday nights @Popejohn3 ?
Was it a Masonic gathering perhaps?
Please don’t twist my words .I’m referring to the Friday the person is supposed to have gone into NH to report the sighting of rucksack.

Glad you posted this ... I could not remember where I read about these items .
I think even police are surprised about information that is out there when they think it’s not public knowledge !
It’s an impossible task for them !

What if this person was sent into into the NH with the pictures by a higher ranking criminal using them to issue a warning/threat!

@Popejohn3 Apologies, I was only asking the question for clarification and thank you for answering this.

So "I believe police practically lived in the NH including Friday night ?" Is what you said.
I wonder how long that period was for?

Thank you for clarifying.

Yes
@keep-it-real I felt that this whole reveal was subject to subterfuge.

You see all this talk about a possible mr big might be having the opposite effect .
By biging these ‘criminals’ up ( if they exist that is ) we might be frightening possible witnesses like her girl -friends.
Including ( though hopefully not ) young police /detectives with young families !
Don’t do the dirty work of organised crime !
Is what I say .
What do you think ?

@Popejohn3 It sounds from what you say that you either have information or even a theory and you are sharing only part of it with us.

Please say more so that we can all benefit from your insights.

Where's the evidence? The bag happened to be found by a perp just to throw police of there trail police know this his a red herring.

Do you honestly believe somebody found a rucksack? Apparntly on the same day she went missing bags found apparantly but no body too this day as been found
This is a simple case made complicated by lies.
