In the CH5 doc, A_L, Cludias sister claimed that her Dad rang her at Tea time which would be AFTER reporting CL missing to enquire if A_L had seen or heard from Clauds?
Would you not have done that check before ringing police and not 3-4 hours after reporting her missing in case CL was with her sister?

The Mum was also said to be staying with A_L and the grandchildren at the time.
Did P_L check with the Mum even. I appreciate that they were parted and not speaking but after all this was important and the type of circumstances that would have initiated a conversation or even a getting together to help find Claudia.

I wonder what the acrimonious split was due to and was this relevant to the case?

IMO I find the long period of time there was silence from a prolific texter / communicator the type of gap that really should have alerted Friends / nearest and dearest far earlier.

It is this part of the case that doesn't appear to be normal for me and demands further investigation. I appreciate that this may mean having difficult conversations with people but who is it that want to find her most?

I can understand why police were baffled seem friends were helping police with enquires telling them certain information some probily true but think most were lies & I don't think there's any consistency from family too coperate fully. I watch these interviews JK with crocadile tears not making eye contact big tell tale sign when she looked like an Hamster with a mouth full of food. When they do interviews there's no pleas 2 find her of it was my loved one I'd be out I'd be on every TV programme going & I'm rubbish in front of the camera. Seems abit suss I know we all act different but it's all abit odd.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how long it would have taken to fully dispose of Claudia and whether this was the reason it took any who knew her longer to step forward and register concern?
Do any Sleuths who have a regular communication with Friends or Family worry and start to ring others if there is a radio silence for more than 12 Hours?

Claudia's friends and Family experienced a Radio silence from 21:00 Hours on 18th March until approx. 09:00 / 10:00 on 20th March.

It's defiantly a long time 36 hours I think anytime after 9pm of her mums phone call if any of these alley man rumours are true maybe he was waiting for CL too get off the phone I then think she was probily taken from back entrance 2 around NH carpark. Whilst somebody is carrying out what's too become of CL others have been in her house staging and moving things around the house along with putting boot prints on scales another red herring. They may have not wanted 2 wait till 36 hours probily was hoping somebody else would report CL missing but after 36 hours probily thought we better call police other wise were going 2 look guilty. Then next day calls 2 report a couple arguing then somebody saying her bags been found. What do U think of the cyclist giving his sighting of someone outside GL house left handed smoker about 6 ft tall short grey hair around 50-55 yrs old it was too much of a good description and one fitting MS.

One can see the witness is a bit unreliable or the police did not help him out at all .In the reconstruction they went to great length making the actress look like CL but they ignored the fact ( probably wrong ) the man was 5’6” according to the witness but they knew Claudia was herself 5’6” yet look at them here

Bang on there's no consistency at all from any of them and that's why they come under police scrutiny asking friends & family more questions. Police know when people are lying 90% of there working day they lied 2 false names addresses. I can understand them for not forth coming about having affairs but that was not the only thing they were covering up. I personally think police have worked out the lies & what really happened to CL. These people who are involved are on borrowed time just cause no body you can still be sent down

A very good observation @Popejohn3 As you say. If this reconstruction was people of right size, this person talking to Claudia looks to be at least 6'4" to 6'5".

Pre early 1990's this guy would have had no problem getting into police force and a POlice officer would have good reason to be out and about and talking to someone that time of day as would a drug dealer selling someone their daily pick up fix

The person outside the house that time of day would be unlikely to call for CL unless they already knew she had not turned up for work. They certainly wouldn't be part of the "Clean up" squad. That is if this was the place to clean up.

it dosent matter as police know this is just another red herring as there was no couple arguing it's all fabricated by the perps it's a good old police tactic

When I studied the photos of Claudia's house I started thinking about some of the pictures and whether they were as police found things or did police show photos to either get people asking questions / Perps worried?

I will name a few photos here:

Could the ultra violet light from the sunbed be seen by Alley man as she was due to holiday at Easter?

The Mop and Bucket left out from the broom cupboard in the kitchen next to back door-Was this a clean up

The hair dye and sanitary item displayed by police on her toilet seat-What else could hair dye / peroxide type bleach be used for other then hair?? / Why display a sanitary item??

The strange circular marks on the kitchen pine door-They were not Knots in the wood. Had these marks been created by being bleached?

The large footprints on her "dusted" weighing scales in bathroom with Builder boot type treads-Hardly CLs trainers or boot marks-But if Alleyman had been wearing an oversized pair of Boots (E.G. Was he a she?) Would this cause them to have the claimed Limp?

The fireplace in her living room with ash in the hearth-Had something been burnt?

The cardboard boxes in living room-Had she taken delivery of something after bin day only a day or two before?

Her clothes rummaged through-Was someone looking for something?

Yes-I do believe that we should focus on what is actually shown and illustrated.

I have seen many postings in this thread by people who see many things that are nothing more than" tricks of the light" and often are the only people to actually see these things.
The problem is that once you tell someone "Look at that person stood by the car" or "That person in the SUV looks like Claudia" or "Is that Claudia on the Bus"-When it could actually be any female passenger / person-People start to see the same things.

Thanks @Jennifersausage I started to look at possessions of Claudias house shown in MSM because a poster recently identified alley man with a particularly distinctive backpack (Oriental Lion and Chinese Dragon branding) So I wondered if it was one Claudia may have had in her collection-Sadly not.

@Popejohn3 I did feel that for the first 5-6 Years the police felt that on Claudia's anniversary they had to reveal something.

Now the case has become cold and reactive they seem to have taken some of the pressure off of themselves, which I believe is wrong.

However, rather than providing positive movement that coincides with the anniversary, perhaps they should all get together and start to re interview all that have been interviewed, put the pressure on and then perhaps the person or persons that Malyn said might crack-will crack.

Perhaps the police no longer wish to incur the wrath of those that still support those arrested.

DI Malyn was an accomplished detective with a good track record and for one moment I cannot believe that he would pass the details of a case to CPS unless it had passed the threshold of PACE.
He would have discussed this certainly with his superiors in advance.
