@Blonderabbit how is you’re investigating going ?
Is there anything any of us can do to help you ?

 • #362
Kind of you to ask the question.

I need space - occasionally I just get to a point and nothing flows.
there’s a couple of elements to this case - to any case - and often they get woven in together - which then becomes confusing.
1. There’s the Motive -
2. What happened.

let’s forget what happened - give me a motive - I see some Sleuths have been on here since the start - why would someone want to Kill Claudia Lawrance.

 • #363
I think close friends should / might be able to provide the motif IMO

If you think close friends can give me the motive - why don’t you take a punt?

 • #365
I don’t think a motif is relevant when you believe , like I do, that it was an accident .
She seemed well liked by most people that talked about her.
I don’t think anyone made money out of her disappearance do you ?
What motif in your opinion could there be ?

 • #366
An accident? A jealous rage kind of accident? You mean?

 • #367
No problem...
Could you post a link to the interview with the mention of poss unusual behaviour and neighbours ordering extra food. I dont recall seeing it
Yes I will find, early interviews etc x
I for my part don't need a link; I'm satisfied with your answer. ;)
Im satisfied with @Vixeys answer too FG but I am interested in viewing the interview in detail to see what else was said in the interview following that detail. I have found like in The Crimewatch follow up programme there are clues that could be relevant but are not as obvious at first.;)

Very long time if you ask me
Depends what's wrong with the car how busy the garage is. Brother in law as his own business and is very busy Ive known him too have cars at his garage for along time. One car was at his garage for over a year as nobody collected car might of been lack of money to pay for the work carried out.

Yes, and?
That's the problem it's all speculation and we're just going round in circles. I think police should do another video leading up too CL going missing and build uo a picture of leading up too CL going missing. Take out all the speculation take out all the people who have come forward. Police have alot more information on this case. I know they can't put it all out too the public but could put something more out there I still think this case could be solved.

I completely agree with you - they should wipe the slate clean and put out a New appeal with and include from Friday 13th with a basic timeline. Get rid of suspects that can be evidentially ruled out. Your perp struck at just after 8.23pm on the 18th March 2009 in my opinion - we are led to believe it’s alley man - which it’s likely it is but I don’t think alleyman that’s been named (unofficially ) is the culprit - IMO it’s someone even closer to Claudia - that’s the real alleyman.
Be careful with your replies the police might be reading them....

Haven't posted much recently but just noticed I signed up to post on this forum a year ago yesterday! (had taken nearly a week to read the various CL threads aswell).

The numerous theories have really opened my mind to some aspects surrounding the disappearence I'd never considered from my casual viewing of it.

Been a bit fatigued from reading this thread purely due to nothing much happening in the actual inquiry but credit to everyone who's still plugging away with little nuggets here and there, not sure NYP are though!

Imagine for a moment a work colleague of Claudia's taking a different route to work...not so as to avoid giving her a lift but to take himself out of the equation and buy time.
Just a thought. IMO

Or just imagine a said colleague coming forward with some new info a year later - where did he grow up (looking skyward scratching his head)

I can see-
1. Revenge/Jealousy by someone she knows;
2. Unrequited love - again someone she knows and
3. just a random attack by a stranger

Just been thinking about the rucksack, chef whites and straighteners. Why would she carry her chef whites back and forth

To launder them?
We don't know the straighteners were in the ruck sack.

You’d of thought it would be the college that laundered chef whites. You would think unlike a shop uniform - that a chef would put on their whites upon arrival at work?
