I agree. She was picked up by a work colleague seconds after this sighting so the times were corroborated. And she was still alive then. Yes there could have been some key event happening at the post office but I can't read something into a cctv clip that isn't there to see so I have to accept this was just a routine journey home.
Spot on IMO

From memory when analysing that cctv footage, I'm pretty sure alleyman's trousers had hi viz stripes on the legs so perhaps his jacket had a company logo on the back?
Was there not some event at the NH that night ?
Did GF get extra security for that night ? Where they in the habit of getting extra security on certain occasions ?

@Yozzer In another online forum SC explained that CL was due to go on hols with JK around Easter time and the meet with SC was to plan a summer hoidayl for SC and CL. A different holiday.
Wish I could take as many Hols as CL was able to.
Stop smoking and you’ll be able to ! Lol

Im just browsing my stills of the Alleyman footage and I came across one I found interesting.

I cant remember who posted the story of John Burlinson but in that article he was said to have hired a black astra SRi, he was also reported as wearing beige trousers and a camouflauge jacket.
Check out the still ..
One of the figures appears to be wearing khaki trousers and army style jacket.
Is that a black astra SRi parked outside the Limes accom entrance?

O/T March 2009 - I don't know, what to think about it .....
Missing man John Burlinson may be in York
Missing blind fitter, 51, clues pointing to Acomb area, creepy messages before missing, rental car: black Vauxhall Astra SRi, registration NC58 GUF, and so on .....
The man was found:
Missing father back home with family
He added: "Mr Burlinson contacted his partner to let her know he was fit and well then he contacted us.
"When he got back to his home address our staff visited him because obviously we were concerned as to his welfare."
Mr Burlinson was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital for checks as a precaution.

One of the figures appears to be wearing similar clothing to the ones described

As has been mentioned before apparent sighting of someone lingering near CL's door on morning of 19th had someone wearing army/khaki mac.

However....pretty sure he was still in Darlington at around 8am on that morning before all the funny business involving him starting so that would rule him out of being involved in CCTV at least.

However his phone signal being picked up in Acomb a few hours later is really bizarre considering what happened in the seperate case of CL.

It may be down to the individual then or perhaps traits associated with left and right handed people

If I was concentrating on unlocking a door, I would have the rucksack on my right shoulder to leave my good right hand to operate the key

I'm sure the authorities have had a behaviourist looking at the footage of 'alleyperson'

Did anyone notice the trait of the person's stride; to me, it looked like a 'buckled stride'?
its very likely someone in the building game. if you notice as he walks he momentarily places all his weight on his leading foot. I have noticed this with ageing builders in general. I have a really good example on my phone which I have tried uploading with no success

@Popejohn3 Good observation. The mobile model that CL had, even with her prolific texting had a far better battery life than phones of today.
It is quite possible that she didn't take the charger as not needed-She may have charged when getting home in the afternoon and so fully charged and a colleague may have had a compatible charger at work.
She may have even kept a spare charger at work.
If she was with a male overnight and if she always got sms from her male friends by day and night, maybe she didn't need a charger, but was happy, if the phone went dead sometime. ;) Less problems with her current boyfriend.

I would like to know if he ever bore marks/inquiries to his wrists the type of marks you would have from having your hands tied behind your back.

@FromGermany But was PR the only person who was jealous of CL and JK going on holiday and would it only impact on a male admirer?
I was not thinking in that direction, but you are right: doesn't have to be male, the rival.

@Thelastleg According to SC they were like Sisters. Was this perhaps infatuation?
The way Suzi talks about Claudia is obsessively passionate. Whether the feeling was mutual or not who knows

  • #632
Also the person she stayed with (if this theory is correct.. not so sure) may have had the same brand phone/charger at their home.
Agree, but would want my own, pain having to ask and swop x

They’ve clicked and got on I say leave it at that

The meeting between CL/SC planned for Thursday in the NH was to plan a holiday (according to SC).
I'm sure Suzi was annoyed at being let down without a word of explanation. I know I would. I would be walking the few yards up the street to ask what she was playing at. Pity Suzi didn't go check on her that night.

1.2.3.4.5.6. Im sure Peter Lawrence would have knowledge of the points you raise..
Perhaps Not as it was Joan who dealt with the mortgage suspended, if that’s what it was due to home made secure, If indeed the alarm was part of this x

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I hope and trust SC has put it behind her ... she didn’t have to go and check on her friend CL had done cut before

Could he simply have been threatened of being sued ?
People can threaten you with death, a beating , a law suit or of being ‘sent to Coventry ‘
@Popejohn3 It would

@Inspector Evans I looked at this car and it appears that whoever works the shift at Limes parks here-Probably Lazy or just likes to keep an eye on their car. At the time I believe what @keep-it-real id seing is a Toyota Yaris. This then changes to a Hyundai and in later years a white Fiat.
I also believe that there is too much of a coincidence with the short term disappearance of John Burnison and I thought like @keep-it-real that there could have been a possibility that he was hiring a different car on 19th because he didn't expect to return. However, this car was present on 18th evening and 19th Morning as @keep-it-real states. It is most likely the car of the shift worker at Limes.
I do hope that they were all questioned by the police as they must have either seen something or had some footage of interest on their CCTV-That is if it wasn't removed??
