Often wondered why PL had never personally offered a reward. Thought PL and MD had started fundraising years ago, but never managed to find out what happened to the proceeds

just curious as to why you’d expect PL to offer a reward? He may not had the funds? Or was advised not to by the police? I can’t see the relevance.

@Blonderabbit I would like to put the record straight here:

It was reported that her call FROM Mum (INBOUND) was at circa 20:20 and ended Circa 20:32

Whilst CL phone activity can be remotely provided by her mobile service provider (Itemised Billing-Available in 2009) this will only show OUTBOUND activity from Claudia's phone.

It will not show INBOUND calls.

So unless someone that CL Texts or calls admits to "Claudia called / Text me on Wednesday 18th March at 21:15" we will never know.

This is important because I believe that you are suggesting the "Kill" took place on or very soon after the call with Joan Lawrence.

NYP may have not said that her phone fell silent at 20:23. To make such a statement they would have to see Outbound calls listed and have witness evidence of INBUND calling.
To the best of my knowledge, no one has claimed to have contacted her after 20:23
Only Steve Sammons was reported to have sent his last text to her at C 21:00. The famous text that she never replied to.

But we could read many things into this:

  1. She had fallen asleep
  2. She chose not to reply
  3. She did not notice the message
  4. She was otherwise occupied (Perhaps having passion or even travelling somewhere)
Equally as has been said on here before, Sammons says he sent the message at 21:00 (He was sending from Cyprus) This could mean that the text was sent at UK time of 19:00?

If you were interviewed in Cyprus and asked about sending texts (He gave police his phone it was alleged) You would reply-"I sent my last text to CL at 21:00"

Finally, Can you explain @Blonderabbit What you mean by "You have to have note takers"

@Popejohn3 No it is not far fetched and it is a very good observation, one that has not been mentioned before and shows that everyone can provided new material at any time.

I had wondered if the police rapid response was because the Male mentioned on this thread (The Blind Fitter from Aycliffe) had gone missing and last tracked in Acomb had also disappeared of the grid (NYP looking now for two missing adults, one male and one female) The excellent find from @FromGermany .

Sadly not many people seemed as interested in this as some other less credible reporting's.
“It was reported in your post - re mums call is inaccurate - NYP - mums call 20.04 - 20.14 for your notes

Imo I go for option four

If it was my child who had disappeared I would have remortgaged or even sold my house to raise funds to be able to offer a substantial reward

Really - I don’t think it’s as simple as that. Whilst I agree with the sentiment, on advice from police he may have been told not to.

Good now we know that both morning sightings happened on the 19 th
I never doubted this but some others used the date of 18th from incorrect Crimewatch broadcast. I mentioned this yesterday as it did not agree with Microsite or other MSM

Or could she have dialled 999 But did not have time to speak !
Sorry my kid dialled 999 he’s going straight to bed !
Trivial until the news of her disappearance that is and would the police make this info public ?
Yes that would make 8.23 specific @Blonderabbit
They might even have a recording of his voice I know I know far fetched

As a parent I would have done what I considered right and ignored any advice to the contrary from the Police, after all we know that the Police made lots of mistakes.

Please explain what mistakes you think our team at NYP made?

Thinking about what Blonderrabbit in his now iconic lol what is the point post :
Did Claudia loose or had her bag stolen ?
After 8:30 pm . Did she report this to the police and is this why they reacted so quickly ?
I know it’s far fetched but ...

Could this act explain the work of 'White Coat' and 'Alley Person' in the evening? Have they got into her property (uninvited when Claudias been busy on the Sunbed) or been in her property as a guest. And the removal of the Rucksack occurred via the efforts of the 2 individuals. If they were uninvited?; have they got a key to the property?

If Claudia did notice the bag was missing; would a prime time be just before she went to bed, when she was perhaps checking everything was ready for work the next morning?

Importantly though:

  • What was so important about the Rucksack!?
  • What was in the Rucksack !?
  • How did they know where the important item was kept !?

If told they you it could jeopardise the case? Would you go against them?

If you feel it could effect the case - then do not reveal it in the public domain.. I suggest you keep
It to yourself. If nothing else think of Claudias Mum Dad and Sistet.

There was probably a gold plated ghd straightners in that bag quite expensive but I would say the phone could have contained valuable info to a suspicious jealous person !

If there was a need to obtain Claudias phone. Then wouldn't Claudia have had it near her?

Surely the Rucksack was elsewhere without her phone in

Could it be a possibility that Claudia had more than one phone or Sim card; and that was hidden in the Rucksack?

They could have been quoting her mother here !

I get the impression that Claudia used her rucksack as her hand bag during the working week .

My partner suggested that but I couldn't grasp that idea
