Any truth that PL has early stages of Parkinson’s and has become quite withdrawn of late? Also that JK partner has prostate cancer? Saw this on another forum type source

taken from the York press.
(Note a 45min walk home)
POLICE say a York woman who has been missing for six days may have been abducted.

Claudia Elizabeth Lawrence, a chef at the University of York, was last seen on CCTV in Melrosegate, York, walking towards her Heworth home, where she lived alone, at 3pm last Wednesday, after leaving work about 45 minutes earlier.

Police said the single 35-year-old, of Heworth Road, was in high spirits when she spoke to her parents on the phone that night – but the next morning she never arrived at work.

Front door, back door, abducted on way to work, I think the nags head and, or it's car park were involved, seems a massive coincidence to me that the live in chef and potential witness to any wrongdoings, Ray went away on a 2 week holiday to Tunisia either 1 or 2 days before claudia dissapered, and although reportedly happy in his job decided to move away from the pub and get a new job rather quickly once he returned, his not being around that close to her going missing seems somewhat dubious to me

Perhaps he found the place toxic.

That's one way of putting it I suppose, but if she was taken from her house, which in fairness is only one of many theories knocking about, I think it has to be out of the back door through a dark alley rather than risk going out of the front and being spotted by any passer by or a local just happening to be looking out of there window, would be a massive risk at best

The fact is she definitely went missing, either direct from her house, probably dead, was abducted, yet nobody saw it happen or heard a struggle or any screaming etc, or she spent the night at a new boyfriends, who only came into existence a year after she dissapered, and that came from her forgetful work colleague, none of her friends or aquantices were aware of, or are not admitting to anyway

There is no reason not to believe DO . Let’s say he actually did mention what she told him to some copper but this copper never wrote it down .
Now the copper’s superior would have to say we know nothing of it !

I wonder if police did a sound test on how well noise travels between the house walls on either side. They built 'em to last in those days.
Also would like to know if neighbours either side of 46HR and 15HP were at home on the evening of 18/3 and morning of 19/3.

Why would he not write down such a potentially important piece of evidence

Yes and if neighbours reported something in confidence the police would be duty bound to keep shtum about it

Regarding RAY (the chef):

Well Andyboy... take a look at this.

To those in question... "Start 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 bricks."
No.14 is just the reference number of some serious 🤬🤬🤬🤬 that will catch you mother 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

If Ray(chef) went on holiday 1 day before... then CL going missing the day before (i.e. carried to alleyway) fits my hypothesis a treat! Gotcha. It is the misunderstod timeline of when things occured that is letting the real murderers off.

Did he get a midnight flight? If it was 7:15pm that's a lot of time to catch a flight.

People who dye their hair always colour this part too dark, above the ear, you know, the point above the sideburns, near the eyebrow facing fowards. It enhances really well.

Would that then even if he took a later flight he could not be the Morning man.
If he was the evening man was he off to do a killing before heading for the airport.
Would he have a cast iron alibi-Going through an airport would expose him not only to be seen on cctv but he would also be logged at the various check points:

Arrival at forecourt
Check in desk
Baggage control
Security and search
Boarding gate
In Flight
Arrivals ay destination.

Would police have checked all of this.
In addition, did he take a taxi to airport or drive his car
Would parking ANPR cameras log his car on arrival at airport
Would airport security cctv cameras see him pulling into airport ground if in his car.

Did Ray go on holiday by himself ? When did he book the flight ?
I say leave Ray alone

Interesting how her Father wanted to sell the house and mother didn't.
Do we know why that was?
Possible that dad was just interested in the proceeds of sale.

Yes. His name has never been in the frame.

He could use that money to hire a private detective and/or offer a reward for info.
PL has been far more involved in the case and has probably comes to terms with the likely outcome that she has gone - whereas JL's loss is still very near the surface.

Perhaps to help her sister out because Claudia loved her nephews too bless her

Re Claudia's home: £180-200k could be put to lots of good uses by the family. Perhaps JL doesn't want the home to go to the wrong person?
