It would be interesting to know exactly where the bag was. The "path" there is on the other side of the trees from the uni and wouldn't be used to get to campus. The paved path just a couple of meters away on the other side of the trees leads directly to campus. I wonder if the "grassy area" is between the two, or more into the field area to the west.

the melrosegate footage starts at approx 1.49.
This video doesnt have a setting to slow the speed of the video down, I think someone did upload it to Youtube that will have a setting to slow the speed down. which will help enormously particulary when viewing the figures returning from the Uni direction.
Last known movements of Claudia Lawrence

The CCTV footage states the footage as the last known movements of CL. Suggesting that is CL on Thursday morning passing the post office heading towards University.
I appreciate I have arrived late to this thread but I cannot find any mention of this being confirmed or dismissed. It certainly appears to be her but if it was why has so much focus remained around her property on weds evening and Thursday am? The theories I have shared were based on her not being captured on CCTV on Thursday morning but this then throws real doubt in my mind.
Please can someone clarify this for my own sanity?

Was this stated by NYP? I assume this would have been addressed with Cold Case team? If that wasn’t her on the morning of the 19th ( as it clearly states) then it swings back to the activity centring closer to her house.

Cold Case confirmed she was not seen on any cctv on Thurs 19th.
They also confirmed that she was never given a lift on her way home onWeds 18th either before or after posting the letter. The last sighting of her was by Linda the childminder.

I have not heard it from cold case. I cannot give you an official reference point. If you have a link to cold case - check it with them. Think about it though - If she was seen on the 19th(anywhere) its a game changer

If this is true then we need some public inquiry into the whole investigation!

@Vixey I think she was possibly mistaken and it was a different day perhaps, Its unconfirmed by a secondry source like cctv I guess and this is why its not featured on the microsite
