and on from there @UKjester it was reported GF came back from elsewhere to attend CL's house with PL on the 20th? (S.C) I understand called GF - GF is then reported to have gone to 46 heworth road before PL arrived - where was SC? how and where did she meet PL&GF to enter CLs house?
GF banged on her door and looked through the letterbox but he did not have a key as I understand things.SC probably based herself at the pub couple of doors away...

Is it just me ?
Why do I get the feeling that susie Everard and Claudia Lawrence cases are connected ?
Both young pretty blonds ages 33/35
Both from York
both petite similar heights.
SE leaves York 12 years ago.
Both described complex cases .the speed the specialised crime command in London took over in SE case almost on day one !
Could it be their’s and their fathers work have anything to do with it ?
Let’s hope they find them soon .

Hey BR, very possibly. Something around a 2007 that has the horizontal clear stripes on the rear lights. What are you thinking?

Similar to this?

Google Maps

@Tri-Lambda delta if your looking in you might be interested in the focus with the football hanger in the back window. Quite a coincidence to find a number of vehicles similar to ones appearing in the footage weve been looking at in the same location.

What is it with the white van to the left of #5?

Im not aware police were looking for a vehicle like that FG.
Someone did mention on here previously that a van had been parked in East Parade and some of the residents had complained but I dont know what model of vehicle that was.

Another very sad case and it appears Metropolitan police are pulling out all the stops in their search for Sarah.
The Specialised Crime Command unit includes kidnap and people traffiking units so I think their involvement would be standard.
Cases can be described as complex when the person has many friends and associates add to that Sarah's connection with different parts of the UK it would make the case more complex.
Her father's area of expertise is interesting and some people could I suppose build a conspiracy theory around that but I see the latest update on the case is that other woman have reported of being attatcked in that area and the mention of van particulary delivery drivers in the update made me wonder if the police have used this as 'a trigger event' attempting to prompt activity from a van they have some info on.
Lets hope she had her mobile on her as mble tracking these days are much more advanced and precise as they were back in 2009, that along with retail and residential cctv, dashcams and the use of social media it make criminal activity increasingly more difficult to carry out without being seen.

I have thought about this, but if her toothbrush was still in the kitchen, why didn't she take it with her if she was staying over night somewhere?

Toothbrushes are cheap these days, even in 2009 you could have got one for a pound... you can pop in toiletry bag to use when away from home

It’s a fair point @cheddarcat she thinks to take her work clothes, hair straighteners but not an overnight bag with her toothbrush. She always looked well groomed - she didn’t take her phone charger either! An avid texter?

I meant do the police know who's responsible but can't prove anything to take it to court ?

Any thoughts on the model of the dark coloured car
