Just heard the news .. as already stated lot of expense here so wouldn't be based on a whim

B) not necessarily anybody but if you know the local area might assume it’s a good place where a body is unlikely to be discovered.

what is the local community page called ?

Claxton and Sand Hutton local group

If it is anything to do with claudia I'd pay top money to have a drink in the nags head tonight, might be one or two very stressed out people on display

Surely the nags head locals have all moved on by now…

Cynically, could this just be an exercise by the police to obtain more funding?

It’s causing chaos as they have effectively closed access to the local villages from the main A road, certainly not an exercise.

There are definitely at least a couple still using it

Oh I'm guessing this is where the dog unit was going that I passed on the A64. I wish I had seen the news before I went up to Monks Cross I'd have had a drive around!

I can go have a drive around after work tomorrow.

I've got chills

It's literally just straight up Stockton Lane from Claudia's house Google Maps

Most likely a tipoff and a plausible area for some kind of disposal. Its very close to the A64 linking York/Heworth with Malton and is within a couple of miles of post 2009 business premises of 2 NH regulars mentioned in these threads (DR & LH). Probably a coincidence of course.

What would be the motive for DR?

I don’t see how Ruth can say a body has been found literally no info for that I think it’s stirring
Ruth is very trustworthy on this site so I believe her but wonder how she knows? Maybe she lives nearby and heard info?

Remains would not be a 'body' in Claudia's case :( I hope some significant news will be shared by official channels soon if remains have been found.

NYP obviously remaining tight-lipped, but if this is a result where is it pointing? Stables? Business premises of POIs? Back towards Malton?
