The way they had been arranged on the toilet seat was for photographic purposes. However, as a hair dyer myself, I would not leave opened bottles of peroxide sitting about. Hair colour when mixed with peroxide goes inert after 30 mins so there is no point keeping it. I bin mine right away so that it doesn't come into contact with the likes of the wash hand basin and stain it. Same with towels, it doesn't come out of towels. Speaking from experience.
Suggests to me that she may have been dyeing a friends hair that night. Curling tongs/straighteners missing too??!!

I’m going to call it now I think it will be a blank sadly but at least the investigation is still active. Have to see what happens overnight and next few days

I have just arrived home from work switched on the television and saw the news. From a personal perspective timing such an irony to me. Although i had heard about the case back in 2009 as with most of the population aside from the occasional appeal i didnt think anymore of it . A couple of months however i started reading about her disappearance and from there as we all know it is a cases of so many possibilities all set against the backdrop of a seemingly nice hard working person vanishing without trace. A desperately sad case which really draws you in. I ordered the 'Gone' book last Friday as well.
I think over time the general acceptance has been that she was most likely murdered with an accidental death seemingly ruled out and no grounds at all to consider suicide or leaving her life behind.
As such when i saw the news tonight my initial feeling was upset at the realisation that her remains may be found but realistically i think most of us given the increasing sense of despair that she may never be found as time has gone by would find some solace if her body is found so that she can be laid to rest and from there of course the perpetrator/s brought to justice. Alongside this of course some peace for her mother and sister and for all of us who care to find out the truth. Lets just hope that this time someone really has come forward with the truth
Even if Claudia's body isnt found at least the publicity can only help. Remember many people under 30 will not even know the case and many others will hopefully now also find out and want to help- who knows.
Finally from me now please spare a though tonight for her late father. It feels almost cruel that he has passed away only months before this. I know there have been many let downs previously but i still find it very sad

Invites her round under the pretence of doing her hair then accuses her of sleeping with her husband and they both do her in?! I really hope she is found but there have been a few false dawns before so I feel it’s unlikely again but would love to be proven wrong. I wonder if someone gave evidence triggered by her fathers death

I was just wondering how far to move a person or a body on foot from a vehicle.
I’d think it depends on your knowledge and how - you’d not just have a body over your shoulder in my opinion - if it’s fishing lakes the person
May of carried her in a fishing box or bag. It it was at night and you were with others - perhaps you’d take a chance.
