well, they could if their hair colour was the same (think hair dye), and if it was dark and from a distance. BUT, I agree it was not the 5th person at the roundabout (and I don't think it was CL either). I mean, why would the 5th person and another go on the same route that CL would have gone, surely you would go in the opposite direction?

I'm on the fence about the involvement of person 5.

I agree it was ( IMO ) not the 5th person there but an innocent person would have come forward by now: the fact no one has come forward indicates it was Claudia .

Yes I remember reading the comments from the students at the uni, many had left and was unsure if it was worth putting posters up yet as so quite. Do you know when the easter half term started that year. JK said their holiday was booked for that date x

I was at Keele Uni in that period and checked back and clocked off on Friday 3rd April 2009 for a couple of weeks. Unis differ so perhaps York might've been a week earlier. Think the actual Easter holiday in U.K was mid April that year.

Again like this case nothing really clear cut. Only real evidence is she was supposed to be in NH on Gold cup day which was Friday 13th. Can't recall if she popped in again but seems she didn't go in the days leading up to her disappearance (given popping daily seemed to be the regular routine) Then agreed to meet Suzy on the Thursday evening but obviously didn't turn up.

Then you have apparent drinking in Accomb although not established with who or why.

To me I wouldn't say stopping going to a regular pub for 2-3 days is any massive sign of wanting to avoid someone or a situation given the lives people lead and she was obviously working good number of hours at work, 2-3 weeks and yes something is up but perhaps things got out of hand on that Friday evening and she wanted time away for whatever situation happened to cool off and that could well be the catalyst for what eventually happened, every chance I guess it played out like that compared to just a spur of the moment attack/assualt.

I am not sure why, but on the low extension of the corner house a person was sat watching. You see police stood on there in images released with the small red car parked up. Wonder If this was well planned that evening x

Some cctv tapes can be overtaped numberous times, some previous images from a different date or time can sometimes remain faintly visible on footage. It can sometimes explain why certain things appear out of context. If you can get a reasonable length of video footage its more likely you can follow the subject you are interested in past any editing that may have been applied. But its by no means a given.

I would like to hear more about Liz, I know they met when working at a Hotel together and then Liz went on to work at Boots the Chemist. She was one of the last people Claudia was in contact with on weds evening. In my opinion this friendship was quite important.

This is the other theory that I hold. I often wonder if she went via back alley to the pub and somehow ended up on the fire escape steps at the back of the pub and something happened that was accidental but somehow if confessed would drop them all in it for some (perhaps nefarious) reason. JMO MOO

I do think the nags is somehow involved because when you see “old Heimlich manoeuvre” under pressure struggling to keep his eyes open repeating how nice Claudia is …. It becomes very clear something is just not right….

My understanding is that the church owns the land on which the enviromental survey was carried out. So, I think the answer is different. Only a search at the land registry would reveal/confirm ownership of that land.

ETA - don't foget, anyone can apply for planning permission for a plot of land. It does not need to be the landowner.

Yes agree, and most likely KIR and moving footage can make it appear there is movement x Will show as your better on images x

Thanks - it just says April in the article. BBC Missing Live ran over 4 weeks and was aired MON-FRI starting first week of March and ending on April 10th - BBC One - Missing, Live 2009, Episode 18. Looks like it was a short programme after the breakfast news.

I will see if I can find anything, but a lot of the old stuff has now disappeared.
