If allyman lives in the area he would have been seen many times prior and after the incident !
As Driscoll says he’s probably not from the area and he is trying to speak / contact Claudia before she flys away to Cyprus! Imo
And I would have thought we are seeing the best possible picture the police have of him !
And you would come forward if you have nothing to hide !
Driscoll speaks on the Mckintry documentary !
its very difficult.....I wouldn't like to comment on whether he's local or not...but if he just wants. to contact her, why didn't he phone her on his way or ring the doorbell or knock on the. door.

agree...youd come. forward if you. had nothing to hide

Probably she never told her parents about a present visitor, and therefore her parents were caught completely by surprise, when Claudia's many liaisons and friendships were outed. Just like me (in the past!), the parents must have thought: when, for God's sake, should she have had all these friendships/datings/nights out? Their "shy" daughter was seemingly relaxing at home after a shift and had nice telephone calls with them both (perhaps each not knowing, that the other parent also called often). As a mother, I would assume, my daughter is viewing her TV program, talking with me and goes to bed afterwards, because she would have her next shift early in the morning. I wouldn't expect my daughter, have nights out after calmly having a call with me and would end up sitting on the pavement somewhere in the middle of the night/rather morning, crying - or some of these occurrences.
yes, I think Claudius parents had been in denial for quite a long time...IMO ONLY, Claudius mother seems to favour the idea of a serial killer....completely unconnected to Claudia on a personal level and other women have been victims too

hope everything's ok now...if id married the really nice person my. parents wanted me to, as opposed to listening to my inner voice, id be married to someone serving a long prison sentence now

Yes I take your point however, it’s not a problem watching him go buy some fish and chips - though during a critical time it’s essential to identify him - o yes that’s ….. do we know if any of the four have a property in Heworth place?

having said that you'd. come forward if you had nothing to hide, I have to admit it could be the. same. problem we may have with. getting information from the 4...fear...I don't know. if Claudius story simply stops at this level or if. there are jigsaws within jigsaws, as pope John said....

I visited Malton tonight, its a very upmarket-market town and today Yorkshires food capital.

I even visited the Pub that Claudia used to frequent in Milton.

Moving to Heworth would have been like moving from Mayfair to Woolwich (for those that understand London Geography)
Posh to Grunge.

<modsnip - not victim friendly>

Tomorrow I will visit Heworth again, for me there is something about why Alleyman deviated into Heworth Place when walking along Heworth Road on 2 occasions.

I will walk the route and see if there is something obvious.

I also believe that Alleyman may have been deviating for tools or a weapon (burglars and Hit Men don't like to carry incriminating items on their person for longer than required in case stopped and searched)

I still feel that Alleyman may have visited the boot of a parked up car in Heworth place. Perhaps he met someone in Nags Head who gave him car keys and advised of what was in the car boot-(Keys to Claudias, a weapon, chloroform.) All thoughts of my own opinion. Ive had lots of time to think about this.

One of the things I did discover on my last visit to Heworth was the Camber of the pavement as I walked into Heworth Place. It almost made me walk with a limp-Police seemed to feel that Alleyman had a limp and they engaged with experts in Gait.

Let's see what I can find.

It is very simple really. There’s a motive, then there’s the perps and the victim. The police have identified the perps in my opinion. 1 wrong place wrong time, 1 the killer and 2 helped out of loyalty in my opinion. How when and where will probably remain a mystery.

Nonsense. Malton is not upmarket compared to Heworth. Posh to Grunge!?!? Mayfair to Woowhich!?!? Those not familiar with both areas - this comment is exaggerated and opinionated.

Completely agree, I was at Kirkham Abbey on Sunday, went to Yates and drove around the area, Heworth is a nice area too - tang hall is a bit grotty in places but there’s good and bad in any area.

What's your belief of the motive PopeJohn? The meeting with the perp you saw with claudia miles away from Heworth in Derbyshire. Has that place got cctv? Can your phone prove you were there or Claudia and the perp were there. Do the police link her phone there as they only mention Acomb and Heworth. Are you involved in any way?

3 of the 4 have used or have had connections with the HP address in recent years

Im not sure if other than the Police there is knowledge of a motive. Perhaps police are even struggling with this one.
Means, Motive, Opportunity.

I don’t think they are struggling with the motive. An enormous police response in a short time, not just a missing persons enquiry. Though I think because initially their efforts were focused towards the college - it allowed the perps time

But what about the motive ?
If Claudia's case is ever officially solved my personal feeling is the motive will seem insignificant in comparison to taking someones life, and the subsequent ongoing interest in her case.
I don't want to get into other cases here, but when I'm looking into other murder cases I'm often shocked at the motives people have for taking the life of another.

With Claudia, although I think the people actually involved was likely no more than 2, I personally believe there were others who weren't too happy with how things were going, and things that got spoken about after a few drinks. If I'm right, I think it could have given the actual perpetrators a feeling that they were doing everyone a favour in removing Claudia from the situation. Like I say, only my opinion based on articles like this Revealed: Missing chef Claudia's '40 different men' in which friends are quoted as talking about how her behaviour changed after drinking alcohol, and also how she thought going after married men was just a bit of fun. And this one Missing chef Claudia Lawrence's best pal tells of heartbreaking 10-year search where JK talks about Claudia always being worried she had said the wrong thing while she was drinking.

couldn't. get that message in and reply in one go...yes, I think you're right that alley man was picking up tools etc...when did someone put them there..I doubt it was. for long because someone may have stumbled upon them.

I think other posters are right and even if someone is ever found. guilty of her murder, we may never know the correct motive because they might be. afraid. of other people who gave the order.

that evening will always stay with me because I had the property programme on in the background...wasnt. really. listening then I thought they said Malden and id just come back from visiting someone there, but of course it was m a l t o n....my computer insists on Walton
