Perhaps that why in the Channel 5 documentary SC said "I was a Sh** friend.
Perhaps SC is regretting not joining them.
Yes absolutely. I actually at times feel quite sorry for Suzy. I don't think she is always honest, and do think there is more she could be open about regarding Claudia. That said I think, based on things like the linked article, she hasn't always found it easy to have a friendship group, which is why I think Claudia was so important to her. This is soley my own opinion, not fact but I do feel SC was a little in awe of CL, but also was quite jealous of her other friendships. So being left out of things may have made her act more hostile than she otherwise would. Which makes me question who she (SC) spent that Friday with, and what might have been said.
I find it interesting that she has moved away from the old group and no longer goes to the nags. Again just opinion not fact but makes me think that without Claudia, she became somewhat of an outsider. There doesn't need to be a fall out for her not to have felt included anymore.

I wonder is sc didn't like or didn't like the look of the men she was with that night...I wonder if she thought she was leading them on sexually too much or that she was going too far in insulting them in fun...maybe that's why sc didn't sit with them...maybe they had. to be thrown out in the. end,..just a possibility imo...if sc didn't like them she probably regretted not warning Claudia...im not saying they had anything to.do with her death but someone like sc is bound to feel. guilty, even if its not justified

I really think there seems to be alot about that Friday night that doesn't get talked about, or doesn't quite make sense.
Even eliminating all the rumour and heresay that has been on social media, theres still enough in msm to raise questions imo

Jk says she and CL took friday afternoon off to spend it in nags head because it was Cheltenham day. My thoughts are
1, did SC not get invited, or could she not get time off work?
2, Did they plan the afternoon in the pub because they knew certain people would be there?
3, Did either of them invite the group they were with later? As if SC claims not to know them, they couldn't have been regular or casual drinkers at the Nags, but CL seemed to keep friendship groups seperate

SC says she got to the pub around 9pm....
1, seems a little late to head to a local pub, unless you were possibly expecting a lock in.
2, Just my own thoughts, but because it was later in the evening, I doubt SC knew JK and CL had been there all afternoon as I would have thought she would have wanted to get there earlier to join in, making me think she was left out of the arrangements that night
3, she doesn't join them, which is odd given how close they were all supposed to be, making me think there was a reason

There is a post on thread 15 by Gladioli which I won't elaborate on too much since I don't have links to their info, but basically talks about CL being seen having a moment with a nags regular

JK says CL was worried the next day incase she had upset someone
1, Did CL upset someone?
2, was it a common occurrence?
3, Did any upset take place during a lock in so the only witnesses were the regular after hours group?

Jk goes on to say that after she had seen CL on the sunday they were texting as normal
1, Did they have something to sort out before they could continue texting as normal?

SC says she wishes she had said different things that night
1, did she say things she now regrets that night
2, did she not tell CL things that she was aware of that CL wasn't?

If I could talk about social media posts there's alot more to add!

Another thing I wonder about, is if no one was too worried about CL no showing on the Thursday night because there had been an incident on the Friday, CL had been avoiding the Nags, and so it was pretty much assumed she had lost her bottle and not turned up.

All little questions but put together with other bits and pieces and I think there is a chunk of information that is being witheld about that Friday night, which I think holds the key to what happened and why, but obviously this is just my opinion.

Linking articles to any facts given above

<modsnip -no link> I do not feel she was avoiding the nags pub. But I feel suzy cooper either had fallen out with Claudia or she knew there was a problem, and kept clear from it. That would make sense possibly, as off work Friday and was worried first thing, even though aware Claudia had pre booked friday off work again. She could of been having a sleep in. So concerned that although she drives, is not willing to go to her house alone . three doors down from their regular pub, but waited on GF to get back as he was out of town. You would just go check if concerned, not wait for the Landlord. I believe Suzy knew something was up Thursday, and sat waiting aware she had not firmed up any plan to meet. The reason she never knocked her door, knowing she had Friday off work. Not even looking to check lights are on! No that is odd imo. You would at least look x

This is the kind of thing I mean when I say I think friends aren't 100% honest and have more they could say. Well in SC's case at least. Whether they hold things back because they think they are protecting Claudia, or whether they hold things back to protect themselves is another matter. Like when JK says 'Claudia and I would go into town every couple of weeks and have a few drinks, but that was all. She's not promiscuous. She'd be too ashamed. She's just not like that.' Is she being truthful, protecting Claudia's reputation or covering up for herself, because if she admits to Claudia doing anything, it might make people assume she was, and she was developing a new relationship at that time.

Trouble is though, by telling a little lie, or not disclosing a small thing, they could be having a pretty big impact on the investigation. Of course that could also be the intention imo only.

Yes I agree. I personally think the Thursday was a regular thing rather than a pre arranged definite meet, & when Claudia didn't appear, it wasn't much of a surprise. I do wonder what was said in the pub that night, and if any of the comments made, gave SC a little niggle that grew in her mind overnight. Because I thought it odd she raised the alarm the friday morning rather than seeing if Claudia appeared that night to meet her dad, which if I remember rightly, was a regular thing. I agree aswell that she didnt want to be the one to go to Claudia's house which, given their friendship seems strange.

PL always went in on a Friday, but PL had not seen Claudia for a few weeks in fact! Let alone the 2/3 times a week he had suggested in a interview previously. But we have never been told why that was. I originally questioned wether PL and SC had a relationship. One Interview PL said, I was single, Claudia was single, it all was just a little fun. So obviously open to a relationship x

SC didn't get there until late because she had been on holiday in Warwickshire and returned home in time to go to Nags. I don't believe that her late arrival is sinister or that she was expecting a lock in.

Almost as if there was a knowledge amongst friends something was not right and they didn't want to be the one to unearth something IMO

Also the night that CL did not turn up to meet SC, PR and JK walked right past CL door on their way home and did not enquire as to her wellbeing or missing from the group of friends.
<modsnip -no link>

PR and JK turned left and walked past CL door.

Ok they may all have thought that she was with someone and didn't want to spoil their evening, but CL was always described as a loyal person and rarely took time off.

I have never understood why a person who was described as a serial texter, could be silent for almost 2 days and not seen by her friends for a longer period, is not classed as strange.

For all that SC and JK could have known, she could have been ill and collapsed on the floor of her home and no one went to check.

That's why IMO her friends knew something was wrong and did nothing.

We here do not have a right to know / be told all!
As long as they told all they know to the police that is what matters!
And remember Claus was a very private person as I understand things !
Probably keen not to shame her family solicitor father !
