Just imagine your daughter has disappeared into thin air, four men are arrested from the local pub. Around the same time as your daughter going missing you find out there was an undercover police operation going on. Your daughter spent a lot of time in there and you knew she had been giving it a wide birth over recent days immediately before she disappeared.
Wouldn’t you as a parent want to know if it could be connected to your daughters disappearance ?

On the eve of the 12th anniversary, Martin Dales, a friend of Mr Lawrence, said: “Despite the exhaustive efforts of Claudia’s late father Peter, family and friends, and North Yorkshire Police, there are still no answers and it is tragic that Peter has died not knowing what has happened to her.

“More to the point, in the light of there being no-one brought to justice in the 12 years, there are still one or more people ‘at large’ in York or maybe somewhere else now who do know what has happened to Claudia and where she is and potentially remain a threat to the communities in which they and we live.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.

Often when a murder is committed the police state “there is no threat to the wider community” I think it’s possibly true here.

Why did the police search the lakes @ Sand Hutton?

Was it due to the fact that it was close to Malton. I was in Malton the other day and drove past Sand Hutton.

At it first on Google overhead - you will see where the police searched if you drive past where the police searched heading towards pocklington about 100 yards further on there’s a little Brook - just before on the left there’s a foot path which takes you to a couple more lakes - one has a very old what looks like a windmill but it’s actually a wind pump - eerie structure. There’s some shooting land there and also a stables if you walk to the end of the lane. On a social media post - the stables owner was alleged to have had an suv similar to the one seen outside Claudias on the evening of the 18th - can’t give you a link because I don’t think social media posts qualify on the tos. I urge sleuths to walk it - nothing ventured as they say

Some groups are a bit tight on letting troublemakers in. There are a lot of people who have multiple FB profiles not to mention the multiple profiles on here.

On a more positive note. I’ve been thinking about the age old question today - was Claudia at home when speaking to her mum and dad. I’ve always thought yes for a number of reasons however today I’ve thought through the possibility she was close by else where. F she was it would explain the activity in the evening - no success contacting Claudia and then the activity again in the early morning - please let me know what you’re thinking?

The one to join is Jill Raintons group - once in I’d look as far back as you can to the earlier posts. The group is very much run in the defence of “Claudias friends” yes there are people with multiple accounts but then that goes with the territory - as they say - keep your friends close you’re enemies even closer!!

My guess is Claudia was seen arguing with someone by an SUV near the Uni. Therefore she didn't spend her last night in the house

A couple were seen arguing around the time Claudia would be walking to work. Its a valid sighting until it can be proven otherwise. CCTV images of the SUV on its earlier route would be useful

I was given the same treatment !?
I asked just the once but I believe the police objected to me joining !
