Yes it would be manslaughter, but in this sort of situation maybe a driver couldnt afford to lose their licence and possibly their livlihood and lifestyle if eg they had mortgage and a comfortable standard of living.

Yes these thoughts could have easily occurred to the driver but simply wrong and unlawful to hide the body .

I am sure you are convinced of the importance of the things you told the police about.
You took the trouble of joining this group ...it shows where your heart is
Can you tell us when did you report things to police ? Weeks months years later ?

As I've only just joined Websleuths, Ive not read all the posts on this thread. Has accidental death ever been suspected? as opposed to something more sinister? What are peoples views on - If eg someone was walking to work early in the morning and was knocked down and killed by a driver who was still intoxicated from the night before, and the driver relied on having to drive for his/her living
In case, it was an accident, I wouldn't understand, why all "good friends" are covering up something and are not working with police. Except, the driver had been someone out of this circle. Little bit too much coincidence, I think. MOO

Maybe the Police have concentrated on and put too much emphasis on her circle of friends?

And perhaps to a medium much earlier?
Hmm you do not have to answer this question or any question for that matter.

For that theory to work, police would probably have to eliminate the 2 videos of suspicious alley activity the night before/morning after her disappearance.
Personally I don't think a driver on CL's walking route would stop to remove a possibly still live person and place them in a car boot, drive somewhere remote and dispose. If they wanted to save their own skin, their most likely reaction would be to drive on and away from the area as quickly as possible surely?

They would probably hit and run. It's far simpler to cover up car damage than to hide a body

I agree that to hit and run would be the logical thing to do, but maybe something not to be ruled out.

Sure hit and killed by a car, strangled in the car then driving the body away... police would have to try and find out who and where

Agree but should not be ignored in case they are getting info from someone who wants to do the right thing but is scared for their own life .

Are you suggesting they are using the medium disguise to tell the real story?

Yes it’s possible:
Scenario husband kills his bit on the side.He buries her somewhere and he only tells his wife as to where.
His wife knows she could be next .
The wife tells a medium as to where ...days later ‘ a dog walker stumbles on the remains ‘
In fact we often hear dog walkers ‘happen’ to be in the right spot

Also some mediums are hackers .They get info from computers.
Plus ...I know of a lady who used to work for a phone line psychic company who had access of a massive database especially on people who are regulars
