Yes but my understanding is that the police have been able to establish from text traffic when the text was received, rather than going by SS's word.
Let's agree to differ :D
I believe ss phone was examined when police went to Cyprus

Northern Echo have this time wrong @Yozzer
Was the alley visit earlier in the morning? So little about this clip was discussed publicly after the exposure in the papers about it probably being the deceased RC and his family being distressed. Then the police review team focused on the 7pm cctv on the 18th.

In that case, I go back to my previous theory that the Focus driver was MS looking to pick up CL as may have been originally arranged between them.

In which case the shadowy person in not the Ford Focus driver !
But again police are still looking for both

@Yozzer
I have it recorded at 5:07 from previous reports. Originally they thought it was RC at 5:07 but when we examine the images it is the same person as in the night shot.

Sometimes I think NYP are looking for new witnesses to come forward ...you would think there would be cctv from Limes Court to help establish comings and goings, both normal and abnormal, but I did read that the review team had run into problems acquiring cctv as probably it had been taped over (and presumably was not seized by the original police team). Frustrating. So I think Dai Malyn is trying to encourage more witnesses to come forward.

I agree but I think the RC discussion (endorsed by comments from NYP at that time) muddied the waters and may even have sent the investigation off course - and looking into 'sightings' elsewhere.

The investigation got too large too quickly as SC said herself...” it was top heavy “ I believe are the words she used .
I’m not convinced this fb / Twitter phenomenal helps the police.
Gollaway himself complained people were dropping hints and clues on social media and not going to police directly.
Somehow the public lost trust in the police .
Perhaps because the police rarely come back to witnesses ?

Overall social media helps police and if Claudia had been into it that may have helped.
Policing today is capable of staying abreast of what is said online and clues are left.

Not sure what experience SC has in Policing mind?
Police know who did it.
This case is not a "who done it"

It's a "why done it"

We all need to come to terms with that.

That's why I am working backwards from POIs to unearth the evidence as to do any other is a waste of time and energy.

I think the police have all the pieces of the jigsaw but have other pieces from an other jigsaw mixed in .

I think my able assistant Brodie is close to finding something :)
She has been digging in this area all day now and she won't let go.

She had her first intro to other puppy's last week and turned into Brodie-cage fighter  Must be the special services training rubbing off onto her:)

I think you're right @Popejohn3. They just do not have enough evidence to prosecute. Waiting for that one person to step forward. I hope that person does soon. Her parents have the right to answers, even if it's not what they want to hear
