From experience....she’d get an early night. Was possibly still feeling a little hungover too.
I believe it was allegedly the Mon 16/3 night into Tues 17/3 but is often misquoted as Tues into Wed. I did put a link up somewhere on here a couple of months ago.

[QUOTE="This might explain why she wasn't in the NH that much that week. She was off somewhere else, with someone else.

Perhaps she wasn't in the NH that much because she had a visitor at home?[/QUOTE]
Absolutely and he was seeking refuge

I agree the fact she was out all night was irrelevant- l believe the issue was that apparently Claudia said she was with a new boyfriend. Not the casual relationship she was in with a married man, whose identity is known to police. So is this Acomb man?

It seems to me that the police thought Acomb man was the publican they arrested for perverting the course of justice. He was the one who said they had never seen the side of Claudia being portrayed by the NH gang. Maybe it was him. Or was it this Anthony guy. It seems they met there in the weeks leading up to her disappearance. This might explain why she wasn't in the NH that much that week. She was off somewhere else, with someone else.
@MissMarple The essence of what I am saying about the "out all night" revelation is this:

By distracting Law by saying "She was out all night with a new boyfriend" the night BEFORE she disappears sows two false seeds:

One- that there is a mystery boyfriend who could have killed her .
Two- That if she had been out all night the night before followed by an early shift, she wouldn't be able to repeat this on the night she went missing .

So
No new boyfriend and not out all night the night before but with the person who alleges all of this falsely and on the night she dissapeared.

Is it not odd that a person who frequents theexact area where a woman has been murdered and was going about their business innocently, would not contact police to clear their name? That in itself would arouse suspicion.[/QUOTE
Yep and that is why I guess he is still key

Keeping on the "local" theme, is it possible she was letting out her spare room (as a temporary measure) to a student?

Thinking back to the witness seeing an older man and younger man at her door in the days before she went missing
Possibly the ‘dark’ and the ‘light’ men ?

Possibly the ‘dark’ and the ‘light’ men ?
And trying and checking her front door .
They had no key and probably no knowledge of her mobile number.
Someone said very early on in the investigation that they thought these men were delivery men and something to do with DIY.
Did Claudia buy something new for her house. She had only been there for about 2.5 years.
Did she have a landline ?

No landline.

Where did you read they might have been delivery men?

5am seems like an odd time to be delivering things.

No no I’m referring to men trying her door days before she went missing

@Mrs Marple, this sighting was in the days before Claudia went missing and not that early in the morning

UPDATED - CLAUDIA LAWRENCE: Mystery men seen at her door and new CCTV released

This describes potentially sandy mac man going to her door and her letting him in after checking the street (not a delivery man) and grey haired man, who might be the same person as sandy mac man, at 7am ish on the morning of 19th, also not described as delivering anything. Or am l missing something?

You are correct @Mrs Marple. This was what I thought @Popejohn3 was referring to.

What I’m saying is the ‘delivery’ men seen by her house DAYS before she disappeared could have been the same dark and light men

:D Thank you for clearing that up @Popejohn3. It is quite possible :)

Sandy Mac man was on the morning of 19th as you mention-Also gray haired
Two men at door as @Popejohn3 mentions the week before she went missing-one had a sandy Mac. Then there was the young man with stylish fringe who she let in after checking coast was clear-3 different sightings.
