Yes they would and it would usually be encouraged by police to make appeals etc so they can watch behaviour. Many known killers have done this / like the limelight / think it’s takes attention off them etc.... forensic psychologists will watch every word and Their body language
It hasn’t got them anywhere so far ! ?

Maybe it has and you just don’t know it.... I’ve tried as hard as I can to find the original appeal featuring Jen, Peter R, Suzy and George on missing live and it’s no where to be found. Could make an interesting watch. Why those four? Did police want to watch them and their responses / body language? Given George went in her home and was first to check her house after a call from suzy, mr ruane who states where Claudia is isn’t where she is though choice. With a mrs who wants to ‘put her back together again’ and hopes she was dead before she hit the ground? Bizarre remarks really.

I take it you don’t know these people but someone who might be familiar to them might say that is how they speak!

That certainly didn't shed any more light on Claudia's disappearance. IMO there has been more research done on this site by a some of the dedicated posters. (you know who you are) I did get distracted at one point when they were talking about Peter and a Police woman being in her house and the contents of her handbag. Can anyone tell me what was in it. I was wondering if her purse and house keys were found.

I would imagine her front door key a chub key by the looks of it is still missing

I am glad that Colin Sutton and that other ex Met detective were investigating the case. They have more experience than the cops who have worked on the case already.

I believe David her work colleague reiterated that she was with someone new two nights before ?He mumbled a bit though ?!
he must have had a good alibi for the night before and have arrived at work on time the day cl disappeared to rule him out??..wonder if others at work noticed she was tired or had a mention from her she had been on an all nighter???

Work colleague seems a very resilient fellow, said it was days maybe weeks that he was troubled by the thought that he could have picked claudia up that morning but got some reason drove another route, I think personally I'd still be troubled by it now

In fact the only person that looked upset apart from her father was her friend suzy, who looked close to tears

No she didn't and yes, very odd indeed. Even more odd that he only rememebered a year after. The oddness continues with other facts i didnt know - he sometimes gave her a lift to work , but that morining he didn't. That morning he went a different route, for no particular reason, at that time of day.

To be fair, I think her mum is in denial or at least has a large amount of hope. I thought her dad sounded unwell. I do hope he is ok.
