Hi all, I’ve never commented before despite having quietly followed this case for a while. I rewatched the ‘Missing or Murdered’ doc tonight and rechecked MajorLang’s (very well done and informative) blog. I think I’m of the same mindset as most, that one of the 4 are responsible/implicit. The one thing that sprung to mind was with regard to CLs text to JK where she mentions being up early for 12 mornings in a row - we know/ assume the uni wouldn’t have had CL in over weekends but the NH chef went on holiday so could there have been an arrangement for CL to sort prep for breakfasts extra early while he was away? May explain why no evidence of foul play at home/earlier bedtime/straighteners missing?
Hello @Giveusaclue
The Nag's Head had a landlord and a manager who were fully involved in the investigation due to the intense scrutiny of the pub in the first few months. I would think any such arrangement would have been shared with the police and would probably have leaked out due to the numerous interviews with the press, particularly as JK worked in the pub and she and GF were very friendly with CL as we know. Unless it was a very covert arrangement but I would have thought this might have slipped out in her phone conversations. Just IMO.
Good logic though (and CL was secretive!) and I have noticed the side door into the pub via the narrow gap between the end property of CL's terrace and the pub - so another hidden route into the NH, accessible via the rear, which has been discussed at length today.
