She left her house at some point, as there are no witnesses or cctv footage of her leaving via her front door you must therefore assume she left via the back door, I can only summise that the perpetrator must be very local as only a local would have such knowledge of the cctv, either that or someone got phenomenally lucky, which I very much doubt

We cannot be 100% sure she actually went inside her home after leaving work on Wednesday 18th March. I've always wondered if Linda (the childminder), saw Claudia with her bag or without it. That would give some indication.

True, but she was definitely round someones house if not her own, her mum discussed a TV show they were both watching during a phone call, I presume on her mobile, don't know if she had a landline

We all know that the Police have committed their fair share of 'Clownery'; and I'm sure they'll be the 1st to admit it. But i think they've been too trusting and naive. I think they've been fed 'Red Herrings' and false information from people they thought they could rely on. I don't think they got anywhere until the Police started getting awkward; then certain people opened up

I also think the DI ? Mal Davies? was being genuine and showing his anger plus frustration when he said people have been 'fibbing'. I do not think it was The Police attempting to 'hoodwink' the public to cover up why they have not solved the case

I still think its a possibility someone gave them the impression Claudia went out her front door to work via a waiting lift. Thus; has a lady dressed up as Claudia knowing CCTV footage is poor out her front door. And that's why the Police said.....''we believe she left for work''.

Then someone or persons have been lent on and provided information that made the Police realize the Front door and gone to work theory was obsolete. Hence; the 'springing into action' with the back alley search, which was a considerable time after her disappearance

Thinking more about the chat between Claudia and her Mum. I think Claudia was at her or someone else's home; because surely Claudia's Mum would hear background noise if Claudia was in a Public House. I do not think the perpetrator was with her when Claudia was making the phone call to her Mum. Would they risk Claudia saying to her Mum in conversation for example......'' guess whose watching the TV with me......it's Mr or Mrs X and they think the program is rubbish''. However; there is the possibility Claudia told the person to be quiet because Claudia did not want her Mum to know She was having anything to do with a certain person

The lack of a reply to the person in Cyprus could mean something happened to Claudia that night. And as I've mentioned before: was someone hiding in her house waiting for Claudia to go to bed(did they have a key), did someone let them self into her house later when the lights were off, was Claudia lured out the her house for a reason to go elsewhere or was Claudia lured out the front door for long enough in order for someone to sneak in the back door .Similarly it could be a lover her parents or friends did not like that was staying over; thus Claudia kept the visit quiet.

There is also the possibility that a jealous partner has had access to her Husbands phone; and She has text Claudia to state he is coming round Claudia's back door to talk to Claudia about something important. When Claudia has opened the back door; there's been a vengeful Wife rather than an ex-Male lover present

With reference to the motive; I still think it's a possibility it was more than vengeance for an affair. I'm sure it's entangled a big secret which a relationship has threatened to expose

Lastly; I do not know if anyone has noticed or agrees. But does Micheal Snelling look very similar to Lee Horwell? in certain pictures

its hard or almost impossible to get a successful prosecution without a body or a full confession!

TBH i can't remember about charging times for phones at that time....but imo she could have accidentally or purposely left it at home, so has no bearing on what happened.

Her particular phone had a battery life of 2-3 days and so if her normal charging methodology was that she plugged her phone in to charge at bed time then she would always have at least 24 hours of battery, even given that she was a prolific texter.
If she did go out that night (persuaded, planned or abducted) then she would either have taken her phone or the perpetrator returned to take it so as to ensure that police did not find it.

Some good points but Michael Snelling and Lee Horwell look nothing like one another.
Snelling has a red rosy complexion partly due to him being overweight and Horwell has a plaid complexion and whilst also a small man is not overweight.

In my opinion the CCTV of the persons shown on the programme are 2 different people the first person shown walking from the direction of the Limes to Heyworth Road is taller and has a different gait and is wearing a hooded garment , The second person is slightly shorter heavier build and lighter hair and a different gait possibly a limp .
I am confident in the future the technology to clean up video footage will confirm this.
I am concerned that the camera footage of the closet camera on the limes building fronting the main Heworth road and entrance to the Limes has still not been shown .This camera would give a full frontal view of the person/persons as they walked the last part of the high street before turning into The Limes entrance.
It would also have shown the light coloured car more clearly and its registration plate( I noted the light coloured car was not mentioned in the programme)

I agree that the camera that is capable of showing Heworth Place would be able to show more of the Dark Person and where they went.
But regarding the camera on limes facing Heworth road, one of cameras on side of limes was shown as it revealed the braking car.
I suspect that either the police don't want to show this footage or it was either not available or hijacked.
On both occasions, only footage from the "globe" type cctv footage was shown and not that of the fixed angle cctv cameras. Perhaps they were controlled by a different system.
Perhaps the globe cameras were already placed there to watch for drug activity.

Not correct. I looked at phone spec a year ago and it was 2-3 days. It was before the smart phone era.

It certainly could. But Claudia's hair tongues are missing. It could mean someone took them from her house before she was supposed to leave for work . Or the tongues could of been disposed of with her bag

But like I mentioned earlier;if we take it Claudia intended to take her tongues to work. Could that mean she was intending to get ready at work and have a pint straight after work with someone; to then meet SC later. Or was it Claudia was getting picked up at work in order to get ready at her new partners and then go for a drink with him;to then go and meet SC later

Or she was strangled by her hair tongs

Her sister said years ago that Claudia’s companion had some kind of conviction and because of this he was not allowed to proceed to Florida !

Her steady boyfriend Dan went to Cuba with her I believe. And no unless there were 3 in the group.
I’ve learned over the years following this case that there are many true statements but not necessarily COMPLETE statements !
Like, for example in the book Gone , Neil Root states that “ Claudia often went to Cyprus on holiday and “” to one other Island “” ??
Did he simply forget which Island ( Cuba) at the time of writing or was it deliberate so not to jog people’s memories?
If so what is the reason for keeping it under wraps so to speak !?
After all it might have jogged someone’s memory like other hotel guests / waiters !
And this dozen or so glob trotters from Hale do not posses cameras / video cameras they could have taken with them on holiday?
After all we know now they were visiting ‘home’ !
They bump into a beautiful woman like Claudia and none of them take photographs of her !? This I cannot believe!

I believe your questions should be directed to Dale as he may have suggested that certain content was not released and the questions should be put to him as to why.
What did Claudia walk in on when she was younger in her home?
What was Peters relationship with Dale.
Claudia babysat for Martyn and Hazel Dale as a young teenager-Did all of this influence her in later life?
