Yes as u know I gave the black truck and the groups gathering around it a lot of scrutiny we have to go by what we see in evidence and the bus cam clearly shows CL if it is her in the parked car before it shows the black truck and the group gathered around it. So I think either the truck was parked earlier and the occupants had been in the NH and were returning to the truck. or the truck had just arrived and the group were going to the NH. If it had been parked earlier it would block a view of CL exiting her house that the private cctv had across the road.
Thats a lost of people in that group it would be hard for them not to create noise and disturbance if trying to abduct CL not to mention the attention of passing traffic pedestrians neighbours etc. All these things add complications to an abduction.
And busses !

Why would she need to go out to spend the night with someone? She had her own home, no house mates that may be upset by overnight guests and she had another early start next day.

I think if you ask most people who have dated they have done both, had people stay at yours and stayed you stayed at theirs so I wouldnt read too much into that.
There is of course need to consider if the person CL or the man didnt want to spend the night at hers for a specific reason, was he local, was he married and didnt want to be seen at CL's

I'm not judging CL by saying this.... But we know she liked men. We also know she didn't use social media or have internet access. Nowadays folks her age would meet via dating apps such as Tindr etc.... However were these available 11 years ago? Not sure if they were or if CL would have had the means to access them anyway due to no internet access etc. So apart from meeting guys in the NH or at work or on other social activities where else could she meet guys for dating or NSA fun back then?

Something happened during the previous Cheltenham weekend (the one where CL was extremely drunk). Either a slip of the tongue, an offensive remark or a major clanger. Then there was communication with JK regarding 'relationship difficulties' (Monday?). I wonder if NYP can extract all CL's texts?
Whatever happened, I believe this caused CL to keep her head down with local friends that week and led to her ultimate demise. IMO
or she simply was not ready to introduce the ‘new’ boyfriend to the NH crowd !

a P.O. Box? Which you would reply to by letter huh?..... Possible then that the letter being posted on the afternoon of 17th may have been a reply to one of these dating adverts!

I read somewhere that the Greece trip with SC was proposed for May. Just can't get my head round the cost of 2 hols in 2 months on a caterer's salary.
Its a big ask especially with a car in the garage for major repair too. Were her credit cards maxed out.. According to RC she was going to stay with him on her Easter trip to Cyrpus could he of offered/borrowed her the money for the trip. He did visit the UK at the time of her disappearance.

Are you sure.. She had planned a trip to Greece at Easter to coincide with the college break. I thought the trip with SC was to a different desitination later in summer break holidays?

Or was she supplementing her income with a bit of escorting on the side? Hence why her friends didn't go to her house and knock on the door when she stood them up on occasions.... As they thought she may have company. They are also not sharing that info because perhaps they were also escorting to supplement their income and there is always that old statement " birds of a feather flock together"

@Yozzer over the last year I have had many thoughts, looked at hundreds of theories and like you, I keep coming back to the same thoughts as you.
I have also had to battle with many who accuse me of being fixated around it being a close friend associate but then you have to question their motives. I have remained open minded but reached a point where all theories offered just take us further away from the truth.
As I have said many times before it a "why done it" the motive and likely the one you have touched on and not a "who done it"

Not true @SimeonOPatrick We just have a strong relationship. Claudia also had a strong relationship with her parents.
The lack of "traffic" from Claudia (Prolific Texter) would be a Red Flag to all that were normally on the receiving end.
Girls tend to stay in touch with their parents more than boys.

She may be placing an ad by letter.. dont forget any responses she may get in the po box may include the interested parties tel number so she could call then if she thought they were a suitable match.. using a PO box would allow CL to remain relatively anonymously and not giving out her mble number in the first instance protecting herself from nuisance calls from men answering the ad that she may feel not suitable.

And the recipient would have contacted the police surly ?

Yeah replying to a new advert because she had just got fed up with the latest bf and she had told him it was no longer working.... He took this badly and the rest is history!

Not necessarily.... She may have used a different name? He may be married or in a relationship and not want the publicity or ppl to be aware he was using dating adverts for extra sexual encounters.

Murders of this sort almost always involve the sordid and secret things that get the victim involved with the wrong sort of ppl...... such as criminal involvement, greed, passion, lust, jealousy

I would suggest an anger and sexual element
