Unless the passenger has already contacted the police !
Sadly we are lacking updates from the NYP the website still highlights the van and asks for information regarding it and its owner. So we work off that untill we are notified otherwise.

The thing is the police don’t owe us anything !
I wouldn’t mind betting they think we are a nuisance ! And I mean us all not just you lol

SC says she heard from them since 2010 in her words 'an update would have been nice'

But I’m sure we can all ,including Suzy understand they cannot /should not reveal details of the investigation in case it gives the game away especially at this vastly improved communication era !

What does NYP owe SC? Isn't she one of the motley NH crew that NYP allege are keeping info back and preventing the investigation moving forward?

To be honest I think NYP have shelved the case for now and are just waiting in the hope that allegiances change and consciences are purged or someone comes across the remains then the case will reopen. I've read about a case in Leeds of a schoolgirl who was kept in a freezer for many years before her murderer moved her to a burial site and hence he was caught and the murder solved. This is certainly a possibility or buried in a cellar etc. so unless there is a need for the perpetrator to move the body CL will not be found. But then again whoever is the guilty party seem to have covered their tracks very well indeed. It's the perfect murder! People like these do not have a conscience.... So it's waiting for allegiance to change or locating the remains of CL.

Are you sure.. She had planned a trip to Greece at Easter to coincide with the college break. I thought the trip with SC was to a different desitination later in summer break holidays?
The interesting bit here is that she had already planned a trip with JK. The purpose of her innate DES meeting with SC was that she was to plan a later trip with her.
You are correct that one was to be Greece and I believe the other to be Cyprus. Unfortunately I cannot recall who she was going where with.

Do plods ever use polygraph tests in the UK?

Or was she supplementing her income with a bit of escorting on the side? Hence why her friends didn't go to her house and knock on the door when she stood them up on occasions.... As they thought she may have company. They are also not sharing that info because perhaps they were also escorting to supplement their income and there is always that old statement " birds of a feather flock together"
This is very possible @SimeonOPatrick It has been argued against many times before because of Claudia's early starts, however there would have been some nights that were not "school night's"

There has also been discussions around Swapping parties. One of Claudia's earlier older boyfriends can come up in search with the name of a "swapping" service in Malton.

I agree, but is SC not also the inside mole for NYP and so not revealing her contact with them.Remember Malyns comments-One day someone will crack and then the case will be solved if they crack it is more likely to be through a conversation with a trusted friend than by walking into a police station.

Hence that may answer all the unmatched fingerprints in her home?....... How the other half live!! I am all for live and let live but doesn't this sort of lifestyle only ever end up with broken relationships and broken lives?

I have this article to hand re the Easter trip to Cyprus with JK .. I'll keep searching for more detail of the trip planned with SC

The morning of the 19th the police have denied (probably for evidence purpose protection) the visibility of a vehicle with strobing hazards that would be associated with a breakdown truck. It could have been a road sweeper but at 5 am in a built up residential area it would be highly unlikely.
Apart from my suspicions of the police denial of this vehicle, I ask the question:
"Was this breakdown vehicle on the way to the local Breakers yard that was owned by one of Claudia's ex boyfriends"???

Not sure-They are definitely not admissible in evidence though.
Not always admissible in some US states either but they still use them.... I guess it gives the plods someone to focus on i.e. if someone fails or refuses a test then they climb higher up the ladder of guilt

He may have been the spurned ex.... Jealousy and Lust!!..... He would not have driven the breakdown vehicle himself though would he? So he would need to have included at least one aquaintance in the plot?..... If that is the case I presume that person would need to be a trusted friend and it would have involved a payment of 10k? But the reason? Can't just be jealousy or because he was spurned? Must be another reason.... Like saving one's own skin!!

Does this ex have previous criminal involvement? Drugs etc? The Cyprus connection? ....... Was he double dealing the ex pats in Cyprus? CL was the go between ( remember CL last known long term bf said she had msgd him from Cyprus and she was in the company of a bar owner and he wasn't the sorta guy she should have been seeing on her own).... Bad boys!!......

Yes-Very much like the "No Comment" during interrogation raising suspicion of guilt. This would have frustrated the police case in Claudias investigation.
