I’m rereading Gone and on page 57 Jen tells us that Claudia used to have lodgers!
And I don’t think Jen was simply referring to herself.
Did the police trace these lodgers ? And by implication these lodgers stayed AFTER Jen stayed there !

I read the ‘sozzled’ blog last night and found that to be very interesting, from there I jumped to the reddit thread to read the comments regarding ‘the DVD’ and then I came here. I’ve read a good portion of the posts within the 8 threads here but obviously will have missed a lot but I’ll try to catch up as best I can. I am also a member of the Facebook group and there is some pretty interesting stuff posted there from time to time. I’ve watched countless documentaries and read most of the news articles too so I do have a good understanding of the case, some of the detail you guys go into here is amazing though.

My next stop is Amazon to purchase ‘Gone’, I’ll read that from top to bottom and meet you all back here

I think that ‘not telling the truth’ if the question was something like ‘ were you present/ involved in what Union_jane had to say’ is not an admission of guilt re her disappearance.I believe the incident happened ( if true ) around 2 years before CL disappeared .

Just watched Machintry. One thing I learned was that her mother was in Derbyshire visiting Ali when Ali got the phone call from her father .
.Was Joan already there when she spoke to Claudia last?
Did Claudia have a key to her mother’s flat ?
Not in the programme but we learn that the police searched her mother’s flat ... I could never understand as to why ?

This might answer your question and poss clear the confusion I caused earlier when I suggested that her mother might have been at her other daughter’s place ...I was wrong !

I thought you might have meant on the Thurs or Fri because coincidentally, PL was in London on Thurs 19th.

For what it's worth, there is a DF at Uni of Lincoln who did his Masters at Uni of York in 2008/9.
With no disrespect to the medium, this is probably just a massive red herring. Weird though.

Well that explains all the unresolved DNA in her home.
I'm thinking this might have been a cover story to explain all the 'visitors'.

Would Peter be a Freemason too ?
Re time it took for her to be reported missing:
we know both parents spoke to her last being around 8:30 pm the evening before. She said she was going to bed because she had an early shift .
So no one that knew her was likely to try contacting her till AFTER 2:30 pm next day !
Work rings her at 10 am. No answer and if busy they would try getting someone else instead .We shall have to have a word with Claudia next time she comes in .She booked Friday off anyway.
Her close friend ... who is clearly heartbroken...miss not meeting her at NH after work ! But she’s ( Claudia ) done it before .
Now her father is going to meet her on Friday at NH I believe and I am going to see her at the pub.
This also means she is not really bothered ( about what happened few days before )and NOT avoiding the pub .
Now her mother is probably travelling to Derbyshire because she was at her older daughter’s place when the call came in .
Good chance Joan did not have a mobile phone of her own !
The next day her good friend Suzy Cooper rings the alarm bell !
Yes it was unfortunate time delay but no one’s fault nor deliberate .
Yes it was lucky turn of events for the perpetrator! IMO

Jill is not what I consider to be impartial as her family are work colleagues of PR one of POIs in the case and she defends JK to the hilt.
Anything controversial is deleted from her group.
You have to ask why.

With regards to what the medium said on Facebook (pictured in my post above). Users have made the following comments on there, interesting stuff.

• I typed those names into google, the Rev Anthony dykes and derek foster ones a bishop and the other is a parish priest... 7 Milbank is at Darlington near the memorial hospital x
  
  
• The rev Anthony dykes is Birmingham, and the derek foster is Durham but they’re parish and bishops
  
  
• There is also a Millbank in York. More specifically in Malton which is where Claudia’s mum lives.
  
  
• There is a Raven studios for students in York.
• There is a Raven Grove in Acomb, York.
• Her phone was active in the Acomb area in the weeks before her death.
