For anyone interested in looking at the footage of the alleyman in detail from the clip attached
Its very revealing.
Because you are being asked if you recognise the alleyman its deliberately frozen for a few seconds giving you time for your eyes to adjust (I always look at these clips at night in a dark room without light its a good tip when looking for detail)
In fact I havent cleaned them up this is just whats showing. Ive added shot still shots for anyone who are viewing on mble.
One things for sure is that Heworth Place Limes Court and Heworth Road was extremely busy at 7.15pm 18th March. From what I could see 3-4 people crossed the main road and at east 3 of these would have been behind the alleyman as he walked down Heworth Rd towards the Heworth Place turning.
When the alleyman is returning he pauses because a person has entered The Heworth Place turning and passes him on his inside.I couldnt quite get a frame of this person because they have been blurred out, their movement and the brick wall doesnt help but I followed and they continued to walk on out of frame in the HeworthPlace direction.
There are also two other people standing on the edge of the pavement hes walking so they would have seen him.
Theres a group of at least 3 people nearer to the limes court building which would also have seen him.
And 1 person on the opposite pavement ( left of the cctv camera as you look at the screen) they have just turned into the limes from Heworth Road.
If alleyman was a local man then I would think a number of these people would have been able to identify him.
