I think its true what Hong Kong said that she had very little self worth and that's why she became so angry and aggressive when shed had a few.

Newcastle is where her work colleague snelling comes from, he used to go back to visit his mother, I believe her home as well as his were searched by the police when he was arrested

I think the ex boyfriends just used her, got what they wanted and moved on, maybe that is why she drank so much, may have been depressed by it all

And the problem is most men ... imo do not like their women to get drunk in public and make a spectacle of themselves

In my opinion if the police had put in the effort and dedication of us assorted cranks they would have solved this case some time ago

I agree with you, Andyboy. The original investigative team lost so much vital time and opportunity to gather vital evidence. It's a tragic fact of life that an inquiry is only as good as the skills, knowledge, and expertise of team members who are conducting it. CL's disappearance will, in my opinion, likely go down as one of those awful situations where the case is never solved, unless her remaining body is ever recovered from a makeshift burial/dumping place and there is evidence of some sort or another that points to a particular person. Such cases are heartbreaking.

I think you have to agree her father made too good a job with getting the public involved making SC come out with ... and I agree “ it being too weighted “

Dan Whitehand. Was in Newcastle at time of her disappearance and think he was from NE so perhaps she'd not got fully over that break up?

Good article anyway for his opinion of her naivety in relationships and what she was like when she was drunk.

It's also where her ex DW lived at the time. Perhaps she was missing having a 'normal' relationship with a guy the same age as her.

Also, to people who are forwarding information onto the cold case team. They view people on this forum as a bunch of obsessed cranks. They won’t take anything said seriously.

@ArcadeFire This is not true about Cold Case team. In reality the phones are being answered and normally by junior officers but I have seen feedback, albeit unhelpful from them. If anyone does have any strong real evidence they should report it. perhaps if they had as much obsession and passion as some of the regular contributing sleuths on here we may have seen some convictions.

could be private hire or Hackney cab

And I looked at the one at the Pudsey address .. It looks like it might have the same.

This one featured is the same colour but not the same make or shape.
Important not to make the tenuous link of a taxi and a northern suburb of Leeds.

remember I was following up on what the reporter said wether he slipped up and was mistaken with the address he gave I dont know but it lead me there and I thought that car looked similar to the breaking car on Heworth Rd. As Ive said before I came into this case stone cold Im not looking to make things fit to one particular theory I am open minded to everything you can critcise for that if you wish but quite frankly it wont make one iota to how I go about looking into this case.
The car is outside a residential property to me it has a plate on it maybe its private hire maybe its Hackney carriage, there won't be any need to trawl through thousands of taxis all the information police would need to check the vehicle and the owner is there. It couldnt be simpler check if the car or the owner is relevant if they are good if not we will move on.
