The one you mentioned in your last post as "alternative image" is the one captured on cost cutter camera

Also white Jacket is a size or two too big and pants are baggy. Suggesting woman in mans clothes ?

And the Jacket has the fairly symbolic Italian "Stone Island" brand on the sleeve as worn by many football supporters then and now as "cult" wear.

Sorry I don't have anything to add (unfortunately!)..but just wanted to say it's good to see every body's thoughts and theories and still new info. to me sometimes! NYP really need some new information...probably to do with the alley CCTV/probably to do with what Claudia did that eve/with who/where etc. The breakthrough MUST be to do with these local leads NOT a stranger/random attack. NYP almost commit to this local theory (but not quite!!). I'm very confident that the breakthrough will eventually come and be local!!!

Sorry I don't have anything to add (unfortunately!)..but just wanted to say it's good to see every body's thoughts and theories and still new info. to me sometimes! NYP really need some new information...probably to do with the alley CCTV/probably to do with what Claudia did that eve/with who/where etc. The breakthrough MUST be to do with these local leads NOT a stranger/random attack. NYP almost commit to this local theory (but not quite!!). I'm very confident that the breakthrough will eventually come and be local!!!

Firstly some notes about CCTVs
The morning CCTV was first launched by NYP on 15th May 2015. Strange that this was almost 3 months after Claudia had gone missing as today that would be shown almost immediately?

It was this one that NYP later dismissed as being an "innocent" shot of Landlord for properties who had died just weeks after CL went missing???

The Evening CCTV was launched by NYP on 18th March 2018. Exactly 3 Years after CL went missing and on the anniversary. Some may say that this was part of the new enquiry, some may say it was to appease the family who were pressurising NYP.

But from this we can indersatnd why there have been some "cover up" for a police officer involvement theories.

Dark Man in both CCTVs looks to be identical as having same height and build, same walk and speed of walk. In both the person had a slight limp.

Light man in the Evening CCTV is said to look of a slightly different stature. On one of the CCTVs Light man has a white carrier type bag and not in the other and on one Light man reappears at cost cutters.

The main differences between the two CCTVs are:

Dark man in the evening is out of sight for 50 seconds. Twice as long as in the morning-25 seconds.

Hence the thinking that in the morning they were returning something and in the evening they were picking up / searching for something. Which would take longer to locate.

Also Light man is on a different side of road and causes Dark Man to stop and hesitate.

Is this because Light man was in same side of road this time and not as far ahead of Dark Man. If Dark man had continued to walk without stopping, he would have caught up to Light man and then they may be seen as accomplices?

Or in the evening they watched something for 25 seconds-Claudias back room?

I will also post later about 3 houses I. Heworth Place that according to Electoral role we're unoccupied at time.

Sorry-Just checked it was 5:25. Then at 5:32 the silver car is reported heading in opposite direction as if towards Claudias house, picked up at Melrosegate PO camera.

I just feel that NYP could sometimes be more helpful with their appeals:

So they show a car or a person
They say the time of sighting

The key element they are not helping on is that they then don't always go on to say if the person or car is either not seen again on camera or state that the person disappears?

It would help all so much more

i think they've been obscurant about the alleyway area precisely because it's the key to the case

I note on the official Claudia website that none of these people that" could" sponsor and help fund, appear to be doing so.

Equally some of these people were POIs

This suggested to me that they were relying on the identification of 'alley man' and other sightings and didn't want the media muddying the waters.

Edit to add: They were all named publicly in 2016 once the case was thrown out by the CPS.

There are 'friends' and there are drinking buddies. I see SC has moved away from Heworth altogether. She seems to have separated herself away from that scene.

Makes you wonder how much sooner the arrests could have been made if that evening cctv had been revealed at an earlier stage. People's memories fade, people move house, leave York University and go home, some have died (RC and some of Claudia's elderly neighbours, for example). Back in 2009 that cctv would have been a lot more powerful.
